Hi matt. I have had a similar experience as you had. When I moved out I asked for my deposit back time and time again only to be told that they couldn't get the landlord to answer them. However surprise, surprise, within a really short time after I contacted the deposit scheme people (a month after I moved out) the landlord was suddenly contactable. I wonder whether my landlord and your landlord were one and the same person because originally ours wanted one hundred pounds to have skirting boards repainted. The agency told me that this was because he wanted to make it nice for the next tenants. All that had happened was that some emulsion paint had gotten onto the top edge of the skirting boards. In the end we agreed to pay the landlords cleaner for washing this off. Like you matt when we moved out the flat was a million times better than when we moved in. I have to say that before we moved into the property we had rented a property through leaders in bournemouth. We would have no hesitation in recommending leaders. We got our deposit back within seven days. Also leaders were not round our flat all the time, just twice during our time with them which was much longer than our time with youhome. With youhome they came 4+ times in one year.

First we been told is long term rent and after one year they gave us notice to move out. Worst agency ever ! Absolutely carless when it came to returning deposit it took them one month and only one month because I had to make a claim with deposit scheme also they charge me £100 for nothing as flat has been returned in better condtion than it was before we moved in ! definitely not recommened ! Please be aware. Regards Matt

Very very happy with my experience with YOUhome Tom, Liz and Jared were amazing and constantly in contact with me. My flat sold in less than 2 weeks on the market. I couldn't be happier with the entire process. A HUGE thank you to the team.
