I've never written a review before! In this case though my experience of the service and expertise of the staff at Munich Legends is worthy of the highest praise. Unfortunately my car had quite a serious problem with its cooling system, which was diagnosed instantly. Whilst the car was booked in for a service additional time was required to resolve the cooling issue. This was in the week in the lead up to the August Bank holiday: so a busy time for the garage and when staff were in holiday. What impressed me the most was that the team at Munich Legends moved heaven and earth to fit my car in and fix the problem in the knowledge that I needed it urgently for our own family holiday. They did an excellent job with no fuss and with the highest level of professionalism. Rob, on the front desk kept me informed of progress throughout and has been a great help with the subsequent warranty claim. Great service - highly recommended.

After a nearly a year of unsatisfactory treatment at the hands of these jokers waiting for a resolution for renovation work to my classic BMW, its time for me to make people aware how terrible this garage is. Not only is their work shoddy and overpriced the people who run the business, Dan Norris & Stuart Draper are rude, condescending, patronising and almost impossible to deal with if you have any issues with work they've undertaken. After over 6 months of initial work to my car, during which communication was near impossible (often waiting days for information, about the vehicle ), charges and additional work were added to the job without prior agreement when i finally received the car, there were issues with the work carried out which to date have still not been resolved. After initially bringing up the problems Dan was apologetic, blamed understaffing for his partner Stuarts lack of communication and mistakes overseeing the job and offered to make good all the issues which he agreed where sub standard. I took the car back 6 weeks ago for these issues to be resolved by the garage as agreed by Dan, left them to it, called them back earlier this week and didn't receive a response, called again the next day and received a barrage of shouted abuse from Dan telling me he was sick of me calling up and wanted the car out of his garage, he told me some work had been improved but not perfectly as he didn't wasn't prepared to spend any more time on the car, he stated he's gone above and beyond what he should of with this situation (when in reality they hadn't even rectified any of the work i'd paid over the nose for). All i'd asked of him was to make good any works that weren't satisfactory, nothing more. I picked up the car today and the works were not competed, even though i was falsely told otherwise i could clearly see they hadn't even touched the car or done anything at all to improve the outstanding issues! This garage is run by ego-maniacs, they care nothing about their customer, not their cars. Their brand manifesto is 'The world’s leading independent BMW specialist, with unparalleled knowledge of M and classic BMWs' nothing could be further from the truth. If you want any restoration work very little of it is done in house, Their outside bodyshop is sub-standard, The trimmers they use are even worse, The non mechanical work they actually do lacks any detail or quality control (fact! chrome trim was attached to my car with double sided tape because they couldn't be bothered to source the correct available clips that cost peanuts) This is an entirely genuine post from someone who's dissatisfaction with the way they have been treated by this company forced him to make sure no one else gets ripped off, insulted or gets put through the awful experience i've had to deal with the past 12 months The fact that Dan Norris is regular contributor to Straight Six magazine and an apparently respected member of BMW car club beggars belief. The fact he can actually run a garage like this and represent the BMW brand is even worse. Please avoid this garage if you need ANY restoration work on your vintage BMW at all costs, i can assure you you'll regret it.

As unprofessional as they were this time last year. I had called and discussed the work required with Stuart. I cleared stated what needed to be accomplished. To be fair Stuart was very professional on that phone call and quoted me a price. When I called back today to book the work in I didn't get to speak with Stuart and somehow what was previously agreed was no longer possible and would end up costing me more. The person I spoke which was difficult, patronising and quite frankly rude, seemed to be spoiling for a fight and advised me to go elsewhere to get the work done...... wow. You deserve less than one star but as this is the lowest possible that's what you get. Round of applause for that guy!!!! Yes I will book in with a professional BMW garage as dealing with you each occasion has been painful.

Seem much better compared to main dealers in price, user friendly and more helpful as you actually speak to people who know what they are talking about.
