Very good value for money. Food arrived promptly and was tasty and considering I'd ordered a lighter option, there was plenty of it. I ended up taking the side salad home for lunch. The server also arranged for me to take a dessert home, but eat the ice cream that should've gone with it. Only minor grumble was sitting in a far corner it was harder to catch her eye. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars for the service, value, accessibility and parking. If I lived nearer I'd eat here for Christmas lunch!

Staff seem flustered, you have to remind them constantly about drinks that you've ordered and you can be waiting forever for the bill, because they don't take hints. But when you go in on a quieter day the service is great. And the food is always lovely.

Foods nice and the staff are great, considering last time we went there was 40 of us, and to my knowledge they didn't get any orders wrong and they was out in record time. Great pub!
