Terrible service My car was recovered by the RAC to this garage, as i had been told by the RAC it would be the cheapest and quickest to replace my clutch. They called me to quote me a very overpriced amount, and said they had already started work, with no consent from me. The first person i spoke to gave incorrect information too. After receiving the car i couldn’t collect as i was at work i noticed that the steering wheel was now upside down pictured, my ABS light, runflat light and engine light were now on. After contacting the garage about these problems, they claimed i had given consent, they hadn’t touched the steering wheel, and would have no part in the lights now being on, all of which were fine before it went to the garage, and also said that the RAC wouldn’t have told me it was cheap or quick. would not recommend to anyone, not worth the hassle of responding to their lack of responsibility.
Shocking service and won’t be returning. Booked to have a tyre replaced and left the wheel with them and when I returned at end of day nothing had been done. Blamed the online booking system for the tyre not being delivered, but why did no one call me. 2nd bad experience with these guys, previous time I was turned away as told couldn’t do the work and one of the fitters hadn’t turned up for work! What sort of business is this? - a complete joke. Plenty of competitors in the area to choose from, so I will now go elsewhere!!!
Very bad experience, my van was there for clutch replacement and I ended up changing the gear box as well to avoid making noise because the existing one it was running dry without oil. The new gear box actually makes noise now and the old one was not making noise at all what so ever, also they have caused other problems like reversing switch, pipe clips around the battery and air filter, missing screws etc and now the pipes are hanging down. Also the front engine cover with oil finger print. Photo attached. I now need to go elsewhere to fix all their problems because the guy from the reception has said “He don’t know how it was before “ Well, everyone exactly know the conditions of their vehicle and no one will waste their time and complain without a reason. - no reliable at all, a very bad job was carried out with thinking of no one will realise what they have done as drivers are not mechanics to pick up faults after work complete Let’s see their reply THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY! Disappointed after Service / MOT Oil-light came on this morning, only to find Sump-Plug is loose!!!
Classic example of what happens when you give someone a little bit of power and it goes to their head! Booked an mot in with thease and unknowingly to them we had previosly inspected the vehicle as per our instruction from our customer. Had it tested at mr clutch and the guy failed it on several defects the diddnt exist! He also used inspection methods which have now been banned by the DVSA to find some of thease so called "defects". Sufice to say we will never be using them again and strongly reccomend that no one else does!
Horrendous garage. The service I was received was the worst I've ever received. Incredibly moody members of staff that were more concerned about their next cigarette over starting my appointment on time - to put it into perspective, my appt was at 4pm for my re-test and I left at 5:30pm!! The MOT test results were the shadiest I have ever had. I took my report to two other garages to check this out and they both said Mr Clutch failed me on things that would barely even be an advisory. They told me re-tests are free but then made me pay. Absolute shambles and dishonest MOT testers. The customer relations team did not care in the slightest and just disregarded everything I have raised.
Ordered a oil and filter change with my Mot and air conditioning clean. My oil service change light came on I phoned to ask why the light would come on a month after they had done the oil change they said it’s just the computer they forgot to do. I should of checked my oil I meant to but my dog was very sick and other things were going on and I stupidly trusted them. They said to come in Monday bank holiday after a second call confirming they were open that day as the first call was vague. After a couple days of my dog being euthanised as he was so ill with kidney failure, I decided to check my oil. It was black and very very low. They did not do it . I will never trust a garage or Mr clutch or use them again
I am afraid I have to agree with previous customer. Dropped of a van with suspicion my flywheel and clutch need replacing. After 2 days I called for an update only to find out that clutch and flywheel has been replaced?! I asked the mechanic and apparently ot looked ok why did I want it replaced? Same noise coming from the transmission area! I called the reception to book an inspection and was told to drop of the van when I arrived the guy at the reception had a listed to the actual problem and said its a gearbox! I asked if they can look at the pilot bearing and apparently it comes with the clutch kit and has been replaced? I have been told elsewhere that it does not so they have basically wasted my money and problem is not cured…Receptionist earlier on was not very welcoming and same goes to todays experience. I have a oil marks all over the van and carpet by the driver seat is ruined-black
Been taking my car here for MOT's and service's since I moved to Crawley in 2018. Ive always had good experiences and never had any issues.
Had my clutch and flywheel replaced here. Dropped the car off at 8.30, it was done by 1ish. Customer service on the desk was good as well. Price was fair and I would recommend and use again. However, I did notice my undertray was left loose and could hear it flapping after having the work done, I popped in on my way home from work and explained the issue, it was no problem and they took it in and onto the ramp straight away and secured it
