Freshly cooked haddock, done perfectly, and huge pieces of fish, even though we didn't ask for 'large'. Nice crispy batter. The chips were good as well, cooked perfectly, soft inside, crispy outside. We both agreed: the best f&c we'd had for a long time.
Went to town on Saturday due to hearing about the band that was playing. I decided to pop in as i could smell it as i walked past and grabbed a large cod and chips and I've got to say its one of the best Fish and chips I've ever had. The chips were crispy but fluffy on the inside which was perfect in my opinion and fresh, same goes for the fish it was delicious. Service was fantastic, excellent team of lads that are always smiling and happy to help. In my opinion its definitely 5+
On way back from great Yarmouth going back to Peterborough usually go in when in area but I Asked for a small bag of chips and large battered sausage came to £5.20 pretty expensive if you ask me next time ill have to go motherhubards

Definitely the best fish and chip shop in swaffham without a doubt!! Tried all the various shops in the area and although some were good mr chips was a clear standout for me Friendly and welcoming staff who are always polite and accommodating, whilst maintaining a clean environment The food quality is always up to scratch and with generous portions! I’m yet to be disappointed as any issues I’ve had have been resolved so I have much respect for the team there Grateful to be a customer there as mr chips is definitely my #1 chip shop 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a shop in the area
Rude members of staff, asked for the price 3 times as he gave me another number each time. He then put my change in his tip jar without asking me prior. Food was cold and flavourless. Unimpressed, won't be returning and will be warning people away from this place.
Best Fish & Chips in Swaffham also do a wicked lamb donna. John and his staff/team are always very friendly and have looked after us for years. Top quality service
Popped by to get some food and noticed this place, I have officially tasted the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Fully would recommend to any of my friends and family so wanted to make sure I write a review to let you know how amazing they really are! Stop by and see for yourself!
Had haddock & chips twice this week and on both occasions cooked fresh! So good; best fish & chips ever! Really impressed. Keep up the good work guys.
