I never normally leave reviews but my experience really annoyed me. I booked in a car I was selling for an airbag light, (AT NO POINT DID I SAY I WANTED THEM TO DO AN MOT) i asked them to ring me before they do anything to tell me why the airbag was on, they didn't so I called them a day later for them to tell me they have done an MOT on the car and it has failed because of the airbag light. I told them I was going to come and collect the car, I explained all this to the mechanic and I got a nice shrug of the shoulders saying 'i wasn't told anything'. He said it would be £50 for an MOT, (that's not trade price) and after I said I wasn't going to pay for the MOT because that wasn't what it was booked in for, he said ok well in that case I'll charge you £50 for plugging it in... Why? When I have seen a review about someone saying they plugged in and did a diagnostic at no charge, also it was the fact that If they couldn't get £50 for the MOT, they would just charge me for the plug in( which they weren't going too to begin with).

Very good service and a reasonable price. We've been to some bad garages in the past and are glad to have found this place.

C Mountney and Sons is my local garage we all use for MOTs and repairs
The mechanics there are so lovely They always go that extra mile. 
My car needed and MOT ASAP as I had let it go over the time so I rang them up on Monday morning, took my car down at 10am and it was back home done and dusted after lunch!
My husbands car failed it's MOT and was repaired and passed the next day!
I would definitely recommend Mountneys to anyone looking for a good, friendly garage at a reasonable price. Yes, you could get your car done cheaper elsewhere, but I am sure you won't get a better service!
