Just arrived home from a gorgeous stay and miss everything about this place already. A gorgeous home from home with everything you need and more. The views are breathtaking, the hot tub was the perfect wind down spot all in all the perfect place for some R &R. We stayed with our 2 boys age 9 and 11 and they loved it. Beautiful beaches close by and a fantastic adventure park; Greenwood family park just 20 mins away. Can't wait to return soon. Paul and Lliwen were lovely hosts and made sure our stay was special. See you again soon guys. Xx
Zero complaints.!!. 11/10 Lovely studio apartment. Stayed in the slightly larger one. Big hot tub. Easily get 4 in it. Very comfy beds. Well furnished,, spotlessly clean throughout. If you are looking for a lovely mountain getaway from the rest race. This is for you. And ps. Lliwen , Paul and snoop the dog, curious, helpful and lovely people. Will return soon.
Perfect little cottage in rural location, we can’t wait to return! We came up from London for the weekend and it was exactly what we were after - totally secluded, idyllic setting and close to a variety of excellent walks. Shout out to Lliwen, who also bakes a great loaf of bread.
Is not likes it looks on the pictures. Is my opinion only. But I will never go again there. After few hours what the owner respond: """Thank you for going to so much trouble to post a review .. I shall make sure the photos are updated from original with heating update on all . We appreciate your review .. sorry for the late reply.. so busy cleaning the "green water " in hot tub So pleased that you won't be returning.. as if it was an option!""" I don't recommend anyone to go there. The owners think about us that we are from jungle trying to explain several time what to do and what to not. The actual cottage is a conversion from STABLE to 'COTTAGE '. £200 for a night for that DIRTY room. home made bread = TESCO
Absolutely stunning location . Cannot fault a thing! Paul and Lliwen were so accommodating. Homeade fresh bread on arrival. Beudy Bach was spotless and so comfortable. Private Hot tub with amazing views. The best place we've stayed by far!!!Rooms: 5/5
This trip was for a visit to Zipworld . It’s a lovely little place - cottages are amazing . We enjoyed the hot tub . Hosts Lliwen and Paul were very friendly, the homemade bread was a lovely gesture . We went in April and the lambs were just born .Rooms: 5/5
A real gem of a place! Freshly baked bread on arrival together with home grown tomato’s. Really friendly host and couldn’t have hoped for a better stay. Would highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5
Gorgeous cottage in best location for a rural stay in the hills. Gwerth chweil o le clud glan a chynnes, a coblyn o groeso da gan Paul a Lliwen. Mae nhw Wedi gwneud gwyrth hefo hen chartref ei nhain. The hot tub and gym was well appreciated and we loved seeing the stars from the hot tub and the veloux window that was directly above the big clean cozy bed! Kitchen and bathroom well equipped. We had a nice walk up Moelwynion, lots of nice views and slate!
Great stay at Beudy Bach, a very comfortable, well equipped cottage. V comfortable bed. Peaceful location & super views of the mountains from the hot tub. Lliwen & Paul are caring hosts & happy to recommend places to visit Newborough beach on Anglesey!. Enjoyed freshly baked bread & eggs. Highly recommended
These two lovely holiday cottages are owned by a lovely couple who live in an adjoining cottage. The location, although delightfully remote is very accessible and enjoys stunning views. From the approach of the cottages you have a panoramic view of the Menai straits looking out to Anglesey, and from within the cottage grounds a beautiful view across the Snowdonia national park. My travelling companion and myself have returned there time after time and are always made to feel welcome. Its a little utopia heaven away from urban life. We are due to make our 15th visit together again later this year, and despite that high number always find something new within beautiful North Wales. So many lovely places, castles, buildings, gardens, waterfalls and walks, not to mention the excitement of the world's fastest zip wire close by in Bethesda. For the energetic and more adventurous there are organised climbing trips, overground and underground, abseiling canoeing and many more. Both cottages are well furnished, always clean and tidy, and well equipped for all culinary needs . The smaller cottage is an ideal retreat for two with a superbly comfortable, massive extra king size bed. The adjoining cottage has an open plan mezzanine floor, a double bed downstairs a double bed and a single bed upstairs. TV CD player and Wi-Fi is efficiently provided in both cottages. I'm beginning to sound like the owners attempting to advertise, but I truly speak from my own experience. My holiday companion and myself consider our regular stays there as highlights of every year. Each cottage boasts underfloor heating and a wet room with shower, hygienically clean and roomy. An added luxury is access to two hot tubs, each one dedicated to a particular cottage. And if that's not enough, there is also some very useful gym equipment. In fact without boring everybody with a tedious list, I can't think of a facility that is missing. If you want gold plated taps, a four poster bed and room service for a champagne breakfast in bed, then stick to the Hilton hotel if you can afford it. However if like me and my companion you want to bask in charm and comfort, high in the Welsh hills, away from the pollution and noise of the town, then these cottages are an opportunity not to be missed. There are also lots of eating out options . Bangor town is a short drive away as is menai Bridge and Anglesey and pubs in-between . Caernarfon just a few minutes more . On top of all this there are more attractions and adventures and outings than you can shake a stick at . The Welsh Highland railway, the Ffestiniog railway, Portmeirion, Bodnant gardens, Llandudno with it's lovely shops and overhead cable way, Conwy with it's beautiful castle and charming town, the list is endless.Mountain studios, apart from being our twice annual retreat, is also the ideal base for anywhere in beautiful North Wales. And finally, I can't praise enough the warm and friendly welcome always received from the owners Lliwen and Paul.
