I was treated extremely well. All the staff were genuinely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I have had a mastiplexy and breast reduction .The dressings arnt quite off yet but I can see the result is going to be exactly what I wanted.Dr Oliver did it and he is a true professional .I am very pleased.

My first stay at Mount Stuart Hospital began with a nerve wracking attendance for surgery. Mr Barrington and his team were absolutely amazing. I want to thank them all for being so kind, gentle and understanding as well, of course for their total professionalism. In the course of my recovery I was cared for by a fabulous Nurse called Claudia Van Der Glok. Her compassion and thoughtfulness very definitely helped me to cope with everything. I can't thank you enough Claudia.... or thank you all, for making an unpleasant episode in my life more bearable.

Extremely pleased with my opp and care I received, from being confused at beginning, and Mrs Mercer sorted all professionally and with friendly care and attention to my needs.. I had a mole removed from my chin, All staff treat me with great care and attention throughout, the admin nurse and surgical nurses was Lovely, and my surgeon Miss anesti was amazing throughout, I’m only 4 weeks after opp and left with Minimal scarring so far and no problems at all, healed very quickly. I’m thrilled with result. Would recommend 100%. So glad I had it done. Miss anesti gave me a follow up after care appointment with good advice and a pleasing result to opp. She gave unrushed care & attention. Thank you to miss Anesti & Mrs Mercer for the wonderful care and service you give & to all nurses and staff , you’s thankfully Miss R Squire

It's nice to be moved through the treatment process quickly and in clean, modern, comfortable surroundings. Staff are friendly and you really feel you are being properly cared for. Food is excellent, rooms are well equipped. Parking is inadequate though and there are a few rough edges but it is (as you would expect) a much more pleasant experience than you'll get in a NHS hospital. The stupid part is the NHS paid for my treatment, which clearly means they have the funding but it isn't being used appropriately in their own hospitals. Don't get me wrong, I think NHS staff are brilliant - but there are too many chiefs and not enough injuns in the NHS. Mount Stewart have the luxury of not having to deal with all the drunks, druggies and other undesirables that clog-up and rip-off our NHS, or with ridiculously inefficient bureaucracy and record-keeping. So yes, if you have the opportunity to get treatment at Mount Stewart you'd be a fool not to take it.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Currently an inpatient at Mount Stuart following surgery on Nov 1st. From the bookings office to the theatre staff the service has been exceptional, my consultants secretary has been beyond helpful, booking office efficient in every way, pre op very well informed of my Hospital journey & as for the care on the ward it has been second to none from the nurses to hca’s to the ward clerk, the nurses are angels in disguise they have gone above and beyond in their care their commitment and dedication is truly amazing they are all total superstars. Theatre staff so reassuring and supportive really made me feel at ease Lastly a massive thank you to my surgeon to say he has changed my life is an understatement so so happy with the results I have there’s no enough words in the world to describe how I feel, would recommend Mount Stuart to everyone without a second thought
