Visited the hospital this week. All staff were absolutely amazing, really caring and good fun. I had day surgery, all ran on time, everything explained to me and excellent care throughout. The nurses and consultant put me at ease and looked after me very well. I am healing very well. Thank you to everyone
nI recently visited the Heavitree Hospital Day Case Unit for surgery, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the outstanding care I received. From the moment I arrived at reception, through the pre-op care, surgery, and recovery, everything was exceptional. The staff were not only highly professional but also kind, reassuring, and genuinely caring. At every stage I felt safe, supported, and confident in the team around me. To all of the staff involved in my care—thank you so much for making what could have been a daunting experience such a positive one.
I made a repeat visit to the Glaucoma Unit for a check-up. As before I found all the staff, including reception, really reassuring and helpful. They answered all my questions fully and patiently. I couldn't have wished for better treatment.
Great surgery staff not so good. They don’t seem to know what they’re doing at all. One nurse in particular she was lovely so caring. Another he was horrible towards me.
Took my daughter for day surgery here. Excellent care from all staff. They were reassuring and kind, explained everything clearly, and looked after her so well. Thank goodness for our fabulous NHS!
