What a fabulous show Disney on Ice is. Loads of kiddies and adults dressed up, the show was spectacular and the children loved it.
Visited the social skating on a Sunday. Half of the rink was reserved for practice. The other one for public skating was busier than the London tube on Monday morning. You could not even move on ice most of the time, lots of people who had no clue how to skate, kids with the plastic penguins or the massive plastic gates support messing about.Proper joke.nWhy don’t they limit the number of people when the rink is only half available?…nNot going there again.
Went to a gig and had seated tickets. View of stage was great and sound was good. It was absolutely freezing inside though. Normally you expect to get hot and sweaty at gigs but I was glad I took my big coat. I didn't take it off all evening! Others complained about the temperature too. Yes, I know it's an ice rink but...nnStaff were great - very helpful.
Not a bad place to ice skate. There is everything for all ages. Skating lessons, ice hockey lessons and much more. Restaurant in there is a bit slow and a bit expensive but the food is good. Nottingham lions play here and where the panthers do their training.
Always come here when we come to Nottingham. £12 for the session. There’s different times each day so look online for that. Can book online to “fast track” or just pay there. Skate hire is included in the price and you can hire aids for £5 if needed according to different heights. Can also bring your own skates. Cold if you’re observing duh but when skating you do warm up
