Great place for sausage and mash! I accidentally found this place online and after a shopping trip it was a great place to stop off and refuel! I really like the simple concept, simply pick your mash, sausages/pie and gravy. All very tasty and service was very friendly. If I am in the area again I would definitely stop off here again.
Would have given 4 stars but something felt a bit different on my last trip December 2020. Pie was nice, gravy felt slightly rationed and mash was a bit cold. Would definitely go back so don't take this review as a bad review, it just wasn't as good as previous times
No frills, just great food. Always a bit busy, but the crowds move quickly. Sausage, chilli, traditional mash and gravy, and the steak pie, horseradish mash and bacon gravy. Delicious and satisfying, so good.
This place is so good. It’s very different than any other restaurant because it’s centered around “mash” AKA mashed potatoes. I got the chicken pot pie and cheese potatoes with their sweeter gravy. It was delicious and so filling! Highly recommend you check it out!
Delicious recipes with many choices! We really enjoyed the Champ mash, Boozy Banger sausages and Farmer's gravy. The staff was friendly and walked us through the menu as it was our first visit.
Splendid mash and splendid pie. There is a reason why every time we cross the “pond”, we visit this fine establishment. I would dine here everyday, love it!
