"Masjid-E-Khazra was established in 1977 to meet the religious and spiritual needs of the Muslim community in Glasgow and surrounding localities.Since opening its doors in the 1970s we progressively outgrew ourselves from 69 Albert Road through to Butterbiggins Road in 1988. Masjid-e-Khazra has steadily become one of the largest and busiest Mosques over the years. It has become a focal point for the Muslim community of Glasgow and surrounding areas. The Mosque has resolutely established itself as a principal Mosque for worship, funerals, marriages, events, lectures, meetings, community and religious educational purposes, we welcome thousands of worshippers and students each week."

Good now they have a area for women during events and have a good arrangement package for funerals. Would be better if it was more female friendly. My brothers the mother and wife educate the future generation give them something to work with.
It's very welcoming and educational. Improved dramatically within last few years. Much bigger than before and very nice inside. Covid19 has put lots of restraints as everywhere else but things will improve insha'Allah.
Masjid-e-Khazra is a spiritual and character improving institute built on the theme of the love, respect and dignity of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad PBUH and work for the honour of his family and his companions. The attendees of the mosque learn about mutual respect and how to be helpful to every one in the society. The open door policy of the organisation attracts every one to visit the mosque and get counselling to boost the moral. This mosque management provide quality funeral services to the Muslim community and bereavement services. I make a special Duas from the core of my heart for the prosperity and progress of this centre in Glasgow, Scotland, UK
The mosque is undergoing a huge renovation. The second floor is complete and my son Azim did the calligraphy on the inside of the dome, verses from the holy Qur'an and names of Allah swt.
Very spacious mosque..upstairs community hall is lovely. Needs a car park though. As parking was really hard to find
