The guided tour is fantastic! What a beautifully kept 17th Century home. The staff were extraordinarily passionate and welcoming, which resulted in a lovely volunteer explaining the history of the house with some additional facts that I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. The gardens are wonderful and there are plenty of activities dotted around the garden and land for children and families to have fun too den building, a mud kitchen, giant connect 4, etc.. There is a cafe around the back, which is a perfect place for a coffee or pit stop after viewing the house and discovering the lands. Beautiful property with a lot of history, wells worth a visit. When driving, there is a big car park however you do have to follow some narrow country roads with potholes to get to the property, so drive slowly and carefully.
A lovely little National Trust place. The Old Hall is very good staffed by knowledgeable, enthusiastic and approachable volunteers. A fun mud kitchen in the woods, wild meadows to walk through, a tree castle for the kids to play in and great second hand bookshop. Really nice place to visit for a couple of hours.
Nice small place for a short afternoon walk. The whole place is not busy at all, and feels very safe from covid. The Forrest trail for kids to follow the small animals is simple but very well made. The farm buildings are well presented, but not accessible. The tea room is casual, not expensive, and has a small selection, but of good quality.
Moseley is a great visit, especially for kids. With plenty to keep small hands and minds occupied we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house isn't particularly large but has some interesting stories. The cafe is nice and serves a few lighter meals & treats. They have a separate ice cream shop downstairs which we enjoyed. When we visited they had some lawn games out to play with. A small crafts activity to have a go at. The woodland adventure walk kept the kids entertained, the treehouse/fort being their favourite. A good way to spend half a day.
My wife and I visited again today with our daughter after many years, first thing we noticed once parked up was the official new entrance ! We’ll it was new to us, on our last visit we just went through the wooden gate. Another fabulous visit, we took in the short forest walk and meadows this time which was nice, there’s a great, safe tree house if you have younger children see the photo. A lovely Elizabethan farm house with a great history over King Charles II on the run. Some lovely pieces to look out for around the house. We played some old games on the lawn which was real fun and then enjoyed a hot drink. Although one of the smaller NT it still packs a punch and the staff are great.
It's a lovely small place for a short visit. The staff were lovely and helpful with the kids. It is a shame the tower in the woods was shut for repairs though. They have beautiful wooded grounds, we live locally so just took the kids for a run in the sun. I personally wouldn't spend all day there as there isn't tons to do but nice for a walk.

A bit of history in this hidden gem of country side. NT staff are very helpful. Garden is well looked after and it provides an excellent play area to children. Do not miss the old oak tree outside the garden wall.Visited onWeekend
It's not as big as I thought but still a nice home to visit, maybe better in summer as gardens a bit sad looking. Only ground floor open but still same price. £9.50 for adults, car park free. Small tea room on site.
