An absolutely gorgeous farmers market with a lovely selection of local businesses, from bakery to cheese and even alcohol, I adored the poured ceramic pots and artwork. There was something for everyone. I have been a few times and the atmosphere is always friendly and inviting.
A nice market and has a dedicated website if you search for it, think it happens every couple of months. Stalls are just off the main roundabout in the centre and range from samosas to bakery to honey to pies to fresh fruit and veg, bird boxes, jewellery silversmithing quality, not tat a couple of artists with quality artwork, fresh fish, loads of nice things for birthday/Xmas presents. Everyone I bought from accepted card and cash. The only shame is that the roads aren't closed off so it's quite a busy feel rather than Edgbaston market where you can walk around more casually. We spent about an hour here and did all stalls
Always a great atmosphere and it's an enjoyable, sociable event. I do miss the free-range eggs lady, and the guy selling local 'straight from the cow' milk but some very good stalls still.
Great independent traders, fabulous food ingredients, from passionate producers. Came home with diced venison, artisan sausages, black cured bacon, venison burgers and fantastic sour dough bread and cakes
Great range of produce available, just wish it was on more than once a month. Stallholders all happy, knowledgeable and engaging. Most stalls are there every month, but there can be a bit of variation. They are all happy to take orders over the phone/email for collection at the market too
Fantastic Farmer's Market voted one of the best in the country. We bought 2 curries aloo saag and chicken, bhajis and samosas for tea and a massive olive and sun dried tomato focaçcia. All rounded up by a large piece of biscoff cake and all at very reasonable prices around £3.50. Absolute bargain and brilliant experience
Amazing place. If you need fresh produce which at best natural if not organic. Much better and healthier option than the vegetables we get in big retail stores. Yes it's a bit expensive for obvious reasons being that they are small scale traders / farmers selling only on specific dates in a month. I tried the bread and felt nostalgic like the good old days we used to make bread at home.
Very good management Team in place, we had a stand there last week and it was lovely even if it was rainy
The best farmers market in Birmingham, and has won the national award as well a few times. There is great produce here to buy as well as crafts, plants etc. We come every month and stock up. I recommend the pies from Roukes, the lamb from Hilltop and the pork sausage and bacon from Berryfields. There are hot food stalls to buy from and a coffee wagon. There is always a good atmosphere. I advise to come early to avoid the queues and get the best selections.
It is the best Farmers market in the West Midlands. There are over 50 stalls selling Fruit, Veg, Meat,Cheeses, Bread, Cakes,Vegan, Indian, hot food to eat, jams, honey, etc. I would advise coming early to avoid disappointment
