I only go to Mr Fish within the indoor market. They sell fresh fish game and chicken turkey. All their produce is British/fresh . Over 8 years of shopping there EVERYTHING iv ever bought has been excellent quality.
The rating is for the people and vendors working in the Bull ring market, for the Birmingham City Council I will give them 1 star for not supporting such a market which is so key to any big city, Across Europe everyone takes pride in their markets, but not Birmingham city Council, this market caters to all sections of society and if kept well and renovated is such an attraction for tourists and locals as well.
This market is a great place to buy animal products. It’s at the heart of Birmingham, so you would need to pay for parking. I went early to prevent delays, but I still had a 45 minutes delay. I have only given it a 4 star because of the restroom; it’s not very neat, and if I could avoid going in, I would. You can get a good bargain at the indoor market.
Just like any other shopping mall and make sure you also go outside the high street shops too we didn’t find that door until we were due to come home
Excellent quality of salmon, usually £10 for each tray.While some stands sell frightening pig and cow head.
For a city centre market this was surprisingly uneventful and doesn’t seem to be much love poured into the local business. Instead the focus is put on the shopping centre full of franchise stores.
I love this place. Cheep bargains, friendly community, So many interesting things.
Love this place and a lot of the stalls I have visited are still there after 20 years and lovely sellers/stall holders, buy fresh!
Always get my Christmas Goose, Turkey and Capon from Mr Fish. Superb quality birds and such friendly guys.
Took my elderly aunt as she loves being able to look for fish and vegetables for herself. I don't like the smell of the fish market but when you come off the lift it smells so lovely.
