I just wanted to say thank you to the lovely man working on the butcher counter at 7.45 this morning. I was looking to buy half a salmon for a special occasion and he looked high and low to try to find one for me! Great customer service!
I had a very positive visit to Morrisons in Solihull this morning, experiencing excellent customer service. Staff member Rose went above and beyond to locate the item I was looking for and then Mark was very efficient in bringing it to me. I was then given additional help at the self service checkout. Both couldn’t have been happier to help. Excellent work with both setting a great example to others. Much appreciated thanks.
Wanted to share this...Visited Morrisons Solihull Customer Services today, 8/7/24 @ 11.44am as for the second time in c. 18 months tbf I have been charged twice for a single item purchased when using the self serve checkouts so I want to claim my refund. When I explained the matter and expressed my confusion since usually, you cannot scan another item until the first one is placed on the scale/bagging area, the assistant told me that 1 I should've checked my receipt while scanning and asked an assistant to remove the second charge at that time & 2 apparently it is possible to be charged twice for the same item and it would be something I'm doing wrong and as it's happened before I should be more careful. Now, I don't know many people who have time to check each item is only going through once and I'm usually trying to get through my experience at the checkout efficiently and speedily as there is always a queue and it didn't help that a customer directly before me used this checkout to price check a box of chocolates and then walked off presumable to put them back so I had to find an assistant to clear the till before I could start scanning. What has happened to "The Customer Is Always Right "? Otherwise, no quibble refund received though!
I visit more to buy Asian groceries. They are readily available there. They have a huge free car parking. You are assured of getting parking place even on a busy time. It is quite a big store.
An old lady is rude to us during verifying our age because of buying paracetamol in the self checkout just because I'm with my family group of 4 which she claims blocking the road and we have to go into the corner. This is very disrespectful to us, and I found it offensive.
I met a rude worker with a horrible attitude. It's not welcoming at all, I felt that there was some kind of racism in the attitude, and I think she should have some kind of punishment or rehabilitation course as I think the racism was genuine. It also took a long time until a staff member came to assist when purchasing at the self-serve. I think that Morrison should rethink who they hire.
Large store. Self scan and normal tills. Clean. Friendly staff. Shelves full. Got what I wanted. Parking limited. 1hour 30 mins. Don't stay any longer. Camera as you go in.
I come into store last week and met a lovely girl named Jessica as I walked in sorting the brownies at the front of the store. There were some lovely ones with some hearts on that I got for my wife. Jessica was so helpful as my wife has allergies to nuts and as I couldn’t read the small print of the allergy list she read them out to me. I was shocked when I met her again to slice my bread at the end of my shop, lovely girl with a lovely smile. Definitely made my shopping trip! Well Done Jessica..
Got the lot in here but for a modern supermarket it seemed a little claustrophobic which is unusual...I reckon its cos the ceilings too low & we'll blame the architect for that however got all I needed so all in all good enough
Very good supermarket, value for money and best thing about is fresh fruits and vegetables , fish mongers , bakery items , salad bar etc , toilet facility is also there, there is a spacious parking ,
