As a hgv driver who frequently heads back n forth from the port of Holyhead.nWe could call into Morrisons for shopping as being away all week and sometimes longer.nBut now according to the signage that has been put up it clearly states NO HGVS. Not good. Went into the store and discussed this issue with the store manager who was very approachable and friendly.nManager was not aware that the new signage clearly states no hgv's.nShe assured me she would speak to euro car parks regarding this issue.nI was also assured that hgvs have 1 hour in the car park and no further action would be taken. To allow hgv drivers to do their shopping.nLet's face it if it wasn't for hgv drivers Morrisons would not get deliveries.nRegards Shaun
I’d rather have created a SNAP lorry park, and it could bring in £300–£500 a day in revenue.nThe store is of excellent quality.
Arrive in the queue in the cafe which didn't seem to be going down. Only 3 people working in the cafe. 2 in the kitchen and 1 on the till. The one on the till was also delivering food to the tables which only increased the queue. By the time our food came, the presentation of the food left a ot to be desired. The mash was burnt, sausages were awful and peas were cold. Having previously worked a waiting on job, I'd have been embarrassed serving the food in the state it was served to us.
For 15 years I’ve regularly stopped at this Morrisons for breakfast and weekly shopping while working as a HGV driver. I always parked responsibly in the far corner of the car park, never blocking anyone, usually for less than an hour.nRecently I received a £100 parking charge for parking my truck there. After 15 years of loyal custom, this feels unreasonable and deeply disappointing.nProhibiting trucks altogether sends a clear message that professional drivers are not welcome — even though we are customers too and help keep stores like yours stocked every day.nFrom now on, I’ll be taking my custom to retailers who show greater appreciation for working drivers — Tesco will be my first stop.
Lovely for a wee shopping. Friendly people. Good customer care. Enjoyed shopping there. Wide range of selection for all items. Anything and everything you need will be available. No huge rush as it was a holiday. We were able to complete our shopping within an hour. Due to the season, there was a reduction sale as well.
