Nice sized Morrisons shop with nicely designed cafe. Often have the cream tea there if I want a light lunch. Has a good range of hot and cold food and drinks with free refills! They also have named deals for low income families too!nBeen a regular to this Morrisons for many years now and it is my favourite supermarket in the area. Has a sense of community and is well appointed with generous sized toilets and accessible ones, regular charity collections including to the local food bank, local events noticeboards and has an on site Timpsons dry cleaning kiosk too!nNice to be able to have something to eat before you leave with your shopping. Decor in the cafe is nice too, bright and Scandi style. Would feel a bit lost without my local Morrisons!
We called here for a sandwich for lunch and ended up coming out with a lot of deals.nStaff are very friendly. Especially the older lady who makes the pizzas & puts the meal deals together.nEvery store needs a lady like her. She did not rush you. She made sure everything that you required you got.nThe shop floor staff are helpful & don't point the way you need, they show you the exact aisle & location of that item you need.nAll round great customer services. Efficient & very good value.
So bought 2 x ultimate breakfast, when they eventually came over done and when asked for brown sauce told they do not supply. Went back to counter and informed them the tomatoes was missing off both told they didn’t have any and the store don’t have any in stock. Went and bought my own brown sauce from store which I don’t think is acceptable and find the tomato shelf had full stock. How difficult is it to fulfil the breakfast that I paid for this is unacceptable.
Got an Uber eats delivery on the 4th NovembernThey sent me out of date raspberries by 1 day and lettuce by 5 days , wrong lucozade and only 1 tuna not 2nThe tomatoes was going mouldy to even though they had 2 days left on them … most of it went into the binnThe only thing I wanted was out of stock apparently…. But when I went into store it was there so I think your pick and packers clearly don’t care !!!
I don't usually shop at Morrison's, but when I do, it's usually to buy alcohol. I've never been asked for ID here or in any other store my entire life. Last time I visited, an older lady at the self-checkout counter asked for my ID, even though I look older than 30. She wasn't very nice and seemed to assume I was Pakistani I'm neither Pakistani nor Indian. I don't know if it was racism, but it felt off. I didn't have my ID with me, and she refused to accept a photo of it on my phone. She told me to bring my ID next time, which was weird and inconvenient. so I guess this might be the last time I go there.
