I love this shop ! it has a Great range to choose from, I've been visiting here for over 20 years the staff are the best part of the experience it's like seeing family, watching it go from one shop to two then the whole block while putting the customer service at the top and training the Young people in hospitality and customer care, is Key, to Success !! it definitely makes this Local worth mentioning when selling your property to get the Best price for clawing you out of the Area ! Wild horses couldn't get me to stop shopping here. Just make my life easier, you can't put a Price on that, priceless !! Just a little smile every time I've been. d:
The shop is fine. But I have noticed the butchers counter seems to have lost its hygiene rating as they no longer display it. If the butcher takes your money as is normal these days, and he has just been preparing meat his hands are normally full of blood and bits of raw meat, this transfers to your change and to you. no hand washing ? Make sure if you have kids with you this does not get transferred to them, raw meat could make them ill has it could have all sorts of bugs on it all. £ stars is for butchers
Traveled to England recently from Latvia and was walking through the heat unbelievably parched and i saw a shop but i only had card i walked in and asked if it was £3 minimum as i only had £2.87 in my bank at the time and the lovely boy with the long striking middle parting assured me that i will be able to make a purchase with my limited funds i got a capri sun and a snickers i am returning to the mother land XD in 2 weeks time but i hope to see that boy again so i can send my warm regards
Went in other day lunch time approx 12 guys queuing for lunch from butchers counter, 3 only had masks. Listening now to new variant things may go back to lockdown again no thanks to the like of these or staff not asking to wear masks only taking money
Great local shop had everything in when we went to first lockdown and no doubt will again this time puts the local supermarket to shame great choice of food and beers friendly faces great little butchers inside aswell keep up the great work
Booth and Howarth ,,is more than just your average shop ,excellent hot food counter, as well as butcher's counter ,and have an excellent range of Irish produce, always a friendly smile ,so support this family run shop as its well worth a visit

It's a good shop and not that expensive
