Poor, visited yesterday picked up a two for £7 offer which i checked and double checked on the shelf as it looked a good offer, Had to use self service on checkout as they don't seem to have till operators and noticed it hadn't applied the offer advertised so i called over a member of staff to sort out and he asked me to show him a picture of the offer, to which i replied i didn't take one why would i and his reply was with no picture i can't do anything with and i can't leave my post, so i replied so we have to take pictures of every offer on the shelves when shopping to which he said YES Why is it no one accepts any responsibility in this store anymore and passes the blame onto the customer, it would be exactly the same if we missed a product through the scanner they would actually blame the customer for doing their job wrong. Shocking service Whos going to take pictures of every offer when shopping i couldn't believe what i was been told.
Went to Pontefract Morrisons yesterday, for late breakfast, as a regular Morrisons shopper. There appeared to be insufficient staff as there was no milk no clean cups had to chase staff for butter sadly. Staff were polite but it seems chaotic! I am not complaining about that however, as staff shortages are everywhere. My disappointment was when we received the small and large breakfasts. In comparison to previous breakfasts we have had it was shocking. The large breakfast had one piece of bacon split into two, small breakfast had half a slice, just the round piece. The large had no hash browns one mushroom a couple desert spoonfulls of beans on both breakfasts! I know times are hard financially but you need to lower peoples expectations so not disappointed by the quality and size of the breakfasts, now as opposed to those of the past. My partner was still hungry when finished his breakfast!!! Will continue to shop with Morrisons but will not be going back to the cafe again. Disappointed shopper.
Shocking place to shop. Queues are massive, they want you to self serve but only 1 trolley self service and the rest are hand basket only. Saturday afternoon and they only have 2 proper tills open. Waited over 5 mins for the butcher to appear who said he was covering for the fish monger too at the other side of the store! You can barely move for the queues. Shall not be returning.
Well the store has been updated since that picture was taken... Well where do I start... Ah yes hardly any staff.. No I'm serious, on so called market street there was no one at the fresh fish counter or salad/pizza counter or cooked chicken/pie counter for over 10 mins. I grabbed a member of management as he rushed through to ask him to get someone to serve. He announced over the speaker system.. And a lady in a straw hat came running from the deli counter which is the other side of the store.. She was the only one serving the entire market street. Its also as expensive as hell now its U. S. owned.. Expect to pay £5 for each small container of fresh curry which used to be £3.45 and £2.25 for coke or Pepsi which is £1.60 straight over the road at Tescostocks not too bad but a lot of brands have disappeared. The fresh flower area has been given a face lift and you now fat a decent selection of flowers but again have deep pockets. Oh and expect a walk across the carpark as there's never any trolleys. Overall clean, tidy store, but as expensive as M&S, no staff.
My scores gone from a 4 to a 1 star due to your extortionate prices of everything and the lack of till workers 1 person on the tills and a huge queue of self service customers. The poor employer who had to deal with all the self service till problems will be 3stone by Christmas after running around. He was doing that while 3 people were ticketing discount bread and moaning about the height of the trolley so loud a few of us thought there was a argument between colleagues. I would score a 0 if I could. Daylight robbery!
I was walking around Morrisons as usual there was never a problem up until now. I came into the shop to buy something to eat. I am walking around the shop when i turn around to notice a security guard following me so i begin walking faster away from him. Eventually i leave the shop but then decide to come back as i still need to get the things. When i come back i immediately get followed again. The man comes up to me and says I have to leave so i ask why and he says because you’re not buying anything. Things quickly escalate and he says i am banned for life. As i go to leave the shop another security guard comes up to me and makes me empty my pockets, saying “this is not a playground” as if i had done something wrong? I refuse and leave but i am absolutely furious with this experience as i had done nothing wrong.
There was only 1 click & collect order this morning - mine. We still had to wait 40 minutes for it and 19 items missing. That’s the very last time I shop at Morrisons
Excellent customer service, clean and tidy. Everything clearly displayed. Staff were very helpful. Love the Knottingley store.
Great for choice of food and lighting not too bright but there were no paper bags at all the paper bag points had to walk over to potatoes to get bag then at self service Tesco's machine bleeps as you scan each item but it here so a visually impaired customer can't be independent and shop without going to cashiers print on screen small it called for assistant who said basket was on wrong side simple instructions need to be up at side of each scanner in simple picture format format
I bought some chicken from the the bakery section in the store then proceeded to sit at the cafe with my friends, they kicked us out saying we hadn't bought anything. they was also very rude about it!
