Visited today. The choice and selection was excellent. However, I grabbed a few things but wanted some chilled beers. But the end of aisle chilled beer section had no cold beers, due to either a faulty refrigerator or temperature setting wrong. The beers were there, but felt warmer than those on normal shelves. It was a shame, because everything else was good.
Normally a fabulous friendly local shop with good produce. However, I'm frequently disappointed and saddened at the lack of care given to the plants. How can that be ignored? All they need is water, but they are wheeled out by those oblivious to that fact. Not only does it shout lack of care but what about the money your loosing trying to sell dead, miserable looking plants. You can do better than this..surely?????
Nicely located in the town. With 2 hours parking you have enough time to shop and visit the town. Fantastic deal on individual rhubarb tarts, and they were spectacular.
Handy being local but upon every visit recently alot of shelves appeared empty but on closer inspection there were items hidden at the back the shelves need inspecting regularly and items moved to front which I often do on my visit if you need someone to reg do this let me know
Such a good idea to combine the smoking area with the childrens parking, get the kids hooked on tabacco smoke from a young age.nIf it wasn't for this, it would get 5 stars.nApart from that, they do very nice meat.
