Food,fresh and frozen,fresh flowers,some toys,some household items.nGood to jump in any time,and fill up the stock at home,hovewer,I think the lack of check out personnel makes the weekend shopping long or near impossible.nThe cashier do not give cash back any more.nThe self check out machine is way too small for doing more than 4 items, for the 12 pay platform usually a single staff person is in charge.The whole process is slow anyways,and if I am fair,not the cheapest as vell.
This is a useful little supermarket, right in the heart of the community. Supermarkets like this used to be the lifeblood of the high street and it’s good to see that this one hasn’t been closed, in favour of something out of town.nnProbably dates from the early 90s, possibly an ex-Safeway? Either way, the overall aesthetic is retro. Small green space outside and car parking to rear. Smattering of pubs within walking distance for your post-shopping beer.nnLacks the full selection of a bigger store, but does have self service tills. I don’t think there is a cafe, so probably none of your big fried breakfast here, you’ll have to go further afield for that. Morrisons always used to do fried bread with their breakfasts. I wonder if they still do? nnA nicer shopping experience than Sainsbury up the road - calmer, less rushed. Not as cheap as Lidl though.
Good local store with friendly helpfull staff. Love the salad bar. Good for parking and other shops at same car park
Great place to shop if u r disabled on a scooter I have had no problems getting around N going down each isle staff have been very helpful N made me feel welcomed.. highly recommended
Nice staff with clean and tidy store. Falls down on fresh produce, I can never get Morrisons bakery rolls either white or granary which is often the main reason for going in.
