This store is hopeless - this is the second time my home delivery has been cancelled. First time I was given one hours notice - this time two hours. I am disabled and relied on this order for my evening meal! DON'T RELY ON MORRISIONS DELVERING YOUR ORDER. TRY ASDA!
After many years of using Morrisons Cafe at Carlisle and being impressed with the value and quality of the food provided we, and many of our friends, are so disappointed with how poor it is now. The food is often lukewarm having been put out on cold plates. The staff are, as always, efficient and kind but are having to field constant complaints from cafe users. I feel it is a management issue.
Loads of parking in the car park. Store is large with a great choice of products in every department. Staff were friendly and helpful when we couldn't find what we wanted to buy. Plenty of checkouts open with cashiers which was great. Getting out of the car park is harder than getting in. Petrol station is on the left towards the exit.
Called in for some essentials as passing. Not as good as it's competitors.. prices are ok as long as you download their app for the deals. Long 'manned' checkout queues. Empty self service. Speaks volumes. Won't be returning in a hurry...
Ordered 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees, coffee machine was broke, breakfast was cold, black pudding rock hard, nowhere to sit as all the tables were full of dirty dishes. Definately won't be eating here again.
