We went for breakfast In the restaurant; it was under staffed, the poor woman was doing everything! And some mistake were made. Shame because some of the food was great. The drinks machine broke down, and we waiting ages for the kids breakfast, when it did come it was perfectly cooked the second time! And what is the deal with table numbers that you have to guess when you order and get told off for if you move table's and take the number with you?
I know it’s weird to say, but I love this Morrisons. It’s usually the first store that we visit when on holiday in Cornwall, so I am biased. The store is clearly a busy one, as it always seems to have more of a choice of products than other Morrison stores. It’s always clean and well stocked, so it’s pretty stress free!
Chicken thighs????? If you fancy a meal with their chicken thighs we recommend around 30 should do it. 95p each Or in money terms £28-50 p Purchased to plate up with with salad it took quite a while to find . Underneath the cress alas! Thank goodness we’d remembered a microscope
There are no issues with the store at all. Friendly staff, normally clean and tidy, early Monday mornings can be a bit iffy, but generally very good. What I have to complain about is the cash machines. DO NOT HIDE BEHIND, THEY'RE NOT OURS! These are in your walls for the convenience of your customers, take some responsibility. All 3 machines out is not good enough. You should be pushing owners on our behalf.
I was very annoyed to see the large wooden bench next to the tills and cafeteria had been removed. I am a pensioner with arthritis. I used to sit down to pack my items after paying As I cannot stand for long. It gave me a chance to rest after shopping. I noticed that many other people used to do this. I am aware that the majority of people are now using self service again I cannot stand for long. I am sure that if I asked for help I would get it however I am independent and would prefer not to have to ask. This small thing has put me off shopping at Morrisons
Friendly staff, always helpful. Excellent range of Free From foods. Sometimes I've needed advice on cooking certain fish and I've always walked away happy. I shop here regularly and would recommend this store. The bakery have a really good range of different breads that are delicious. There is a very big free car park and customer toilets with baby changing facility. The cafe has a fantastic menu with something for everyone, " free from" also available. The petrol station has a well stocked shop, cereals, biscuits, fruit, veg, fresh meat, frozen products and a good selection of beer and wine. Jet wash and air machine available, again, lovely staff, all friendly and very helpful.
We was at morrisons in the morning and having trouble with the self service as prefer the tills but they was not open so we did our best but to over hear the 3 staff members moaning about us to too much . 3 staff standing just chatting and moaning, what a joke! We will never go Newquay morrisons again or use the petrol station ever. The staff are just too rude. . Shame as we both like morrisons in Newquay
This store gets worse. I have been using this store since it was Safeways. When Morrisons bought it I thought it would be great. It was for a few years. But now what a difference. Shelves empty. Meat section shocking. No staff to be found if you need help. Then the experience at the tills.. only 8 now tills to actually be served at. Found this to be slow. The new self serve tills do not hold a full trolley of shopping. When there is an issue you have to wait for 1 member of staff between 12 checkouts. I decided to ask people 20 in number of different age ranges and only 1 said they are fine with this checkout system. When are Morrisons going to wake up and realise people still want to be served. Went in lidl earlier was served quickly and efficiently with a smile. And if it gets busier they just open another checkout. You are losing customers Morrisons including me this experience doesnt suit me with my twice weekly large family shop. Suggest you get rid of the automated checkouts and put back the ones where the majority of people want to be served by a person. Stop making profit the be all and end all and re employ some of the staff you have let go. Make this a warm friendly store again served personally by warm kind helpful staff
Not our local Morrisons, we we're on holiday. Good job we didn't want any fruit or veg.. there wasn't any! Several other shelves were empty too. I've seen other posts about how busy they were prior to the day of the Queen's funeral but this is several days after that? The picture is their offering of mixed shrubs which should have 3 or 4 different varieties across a supplied box of 10 plants. Something that seems to be lost now Morrisons own the nursery producing these plants.
One of the best Morrisons I've been too ,well stocked with a great range of good value products . Ample parking with an ATM and garage the staff are polite and presentable. Morrisons cafe is excellent it's clean , spacious and updated. The food is of good quality and served hot presentation is excellent and served by polite clean staff. Great experience.
