Average sized store, that's easy to get around and in general is a good place to shop.  The store stocks quite a lot of different ranges of products, but choices are quite limited as a result.  The choice of fresh fruit and veg was limited to almost entirely bagged items. Apart from bananas and carrots, hardly any loose stuff was available, but it was mostly a decent standard.  In common with many stores, they have quite an extensive bakery section at the back of the store. This includes the option to have any pizza you buy from them cooked. Prices vary depending on which pizza you want, but can be less than £1 extra. Very useful and good value. After the bakery staff leave about 6pm, other staff can still cook your pizza, but it may be a short wait until someone’s available.  We shopped here often during a long stay in Newquay. We particularly liked the quality of the own brand food, especially as the price was often better than Morrison's or Sainsbury's. We split our shopping between here and nearby Aldi, depending on what we needed.  Since we last visited in 2019, the quality of customer service has noticeably improved. The bulk of checkouts are self service with at least two staff each time we shopped. They were proactive and helpful when needed. There was also one staffed checkout and together there wasn’t any problems paying for shopping quickly.  Parking is free for customers for up to 1.5 hours. It is a level car park for around 60 to 70 vehicles. Some spaces are a bit more difficult to get to than others. There's additional parking to the rear of the store.  The entrance to the store has automatic doors and it's fully accessible. There aren’t any customer toilets at this store.

Absolutely the worst supermarket in Newquay. The staff are so rude and unhelpful. The one lady in particular is possibly the most unpleasant lady I’ve come across in a long time. I try to avoid using asda where possible due to said lady. She has dark hair dyed a blonder colour, northern accent and is usually on self scan. She physically pushed my two year old with a trolly not long ago and just grunted and pulled a face - no apology! AWFUL.

A small store in comparison to other Asda Supermarkets. The product range and variety is severely limited.

Not a bad little shop for a weekly shop but definitely too small for a monthly shop. Staff seem to struggle a lot handling the self service kiosks and the tobacco counter. Pizza counter is pointless on the weekend because it’s never stocked.

This Asda always looks clean, has plenty of the products I'm looking for and the staff are cheerful and always helpful.  They have a good homeware section, and a nice little plants section outside. It's a smaller than average branch but there's something for everyone.  Theres a good car park, free for 1.5hrs to customers, ANPR camera. Wheelchair friendly store with a rail just outside to secure your dog while you shop.

Worst Asda I've ever been in! Staff were massively in the way while stocking shelves and didn't move for customers. Didn't speak either! Bumped into staff by accident, they just made a disapproving noise and walked off! No one available at self service at first so had to wait ages to get bag ls approved. Staff were not focussed on customer service in the slightest. Disappointing trip and won't be revisiting.

I don't expect to be humiliated by staff in Asda, but it happened today.  I chose the nearest checkout for convenience but then noticed that the previous customer had strewn bananas over the area meant for shopping bags.  I politely waited for him to finish, then behind me came this booming female shop worker's voice shouting ' She could have chosen any of the others', trying to draw attention to me as I prepared to swipe my shopping.  I turned to her and asked her if she wanted me to leave the store, but she said 'No, you're all right.  I imagine she assumed I was a holiday visitor, but she was wrong, I have lived in Newquay for years and she must have seen me there before.   Perhaps someone had had a go at her and she wanted to get her own back.  It spoilt my shopping experience which has usually been very good.  I won't be going there again.

Awful, dark n dinghy. Poor selection & only one real checkout. Like going back in time to a Kwik Save, but with self scan

Absolutely  disgusted  with asdas  glute free  prices  .  in the last month and a half   the price of four gluten free rolls.has gone from 95p to £1.30  today I found the same items.now £1.70  what an absolute joke...being a coeliac   I csnt eat normal bread   so not much choice...plus asdas do an own brand grenola    which is 1.50 per bag but dont stock it in their newquay shop  instead the have another brand at £3  a bag... wont be going to buy their gluten free stuff again   found very similar rolls in morrisons at 99.p yhevprice ofgluten free stuff is bad enough  buy a hike of 75 p is a joke.

Very good small supermarket, with a wide variety of goods available, including food and household items
