It gets even worse, now its absolutely FREEZING in there! Phone sensor says its 12c which is totally unacceptable! Staff all in wooly hats and scarves, some even wearing gloves! if your luck enough to see a member of staff that is! asked what going on lady said 'officially heating broken, unofficialy management refuse to turn it on in a poor attempt to save money because people, especially the elderly cant bare it so are going elsewhere... Unbelievable! Premium prices, in a dump of a store! It's even worse than before! Haven been for several weeks because of price, lack of stock and generally scruffy shop, well its just as bad if not worse! Boxes all over the place, containers everywhere full of stuff but nobody putting it on the shelves that are mainly empty, water all over the floors, and several smashed fridge/freezer doors. I'm not surprised it was so quiet, I'm counting the days before this Morrisons closes and blames covid!
I have not used this place for some time , I was expecting it to be like the other supermarket recently taken over that now has little stock, but this was as good as Morrisons always has been. The market place is fantastic as always.
A medium sized supermarket selling a wide range of products including a clothing range and seasonal garden items such as plants, planters etc My personal opinion is that this branch has deteriorated over recent years-often there are gaps in the shelves, the aisles are cluttered and broken, leaking freezers seems to be the norm; products are poorly displayed. There are few staff -there is too great a reliance on customers using the self-service checkouts and it’s very difficult to find staff on the shop floor to deal with queries. Could and should do better.
I had occasion this morning to visit Morrisons in Beverley. What an appalling shopping experience. At least half the shelves were empty or low stocked. The store was untidy, overcrowded with boxes in the aisles, which are too narrow. The general appearance of the store appeared unclean. The staff were somewhat surly. Get your act together Morrisons!! I'm afraid I won't be making a return visit any time soon.
Looking for a good range of spring plants, but not so many available. However, the quality was good, and well looked after, unlike many other places that don't what a watering can is
Horrific service and obnoxious staff. One lady on the checkouts at 9am, elderly people waiting who quite rightly don't wish to use the self service tills. Another staff member came over and asked if there was a problem whilst still waring a headset, then complained she couldn't hear me. So I said "if you can't hear me don't ask me a question". If it takes the customer to see an obvious problem, then perhaps the staff need more training. As the que for the checkout grew, still no extra staff arrived. And I overheard one staff member saying that another staff member had refused to man the checkout. Poor management equals poor staff. Shop somewhere else is my recommendation folks.
Better in just about every way than the Hull store. That is except the battle against the flow of people to get to the cafe - not good when pushing a wheelchair when shoppers leaving the checkouts don't look where they are pushing their trolleys. Some are simply off their trolley. ...seriously though access to the cafe needs improvement
My love how the older Morrisons are laid out when I was gay good priced up a bit of a different from my local Morrisons glitches like any other not very good but love this one
Staff don't have basic manners. Will continue chatting to other members of staff about their Saturday nights out and how drunk they got. No please no thank you just take cash from you and will drop it into the tray rather than handing it to you.
Only reviewing the cafe. Exceptionally disappointed. You have to order via the screen which is not ideal when you want to pay cash. If you order by the till it's unbelievably slow. Only 1 coffee machine working and only if you wanted black coffee. However the food when it came was ok but service and ordering here is a complete and utter shambles
