Bought Christmas Dinner a d what came was disgusting 4 slices of turkey paper thin it was disgusting Left it couldt eat it not very happy had to wait 20 minutes for a fork to turn up no serviettes I eat in the cafe regular but the standard is ridiculous now have you no shape pretending this is christmas dinner Will be using tesco cafe from now on Alun
The member of staff on the till was very slow, and quite rude, they got the order wrong twice, they advised they did not do soya milk for my tea meaning I had to go and buy a litre of milk from the shop for my cup of tea. They brough the soya milk over half an hour after i puchased my cup of tea and my own milk. Also no straws paper at all so again had to go into the shop to buy them for my kids. Overall this used to be a nice cafe, but has gone significantly downhill in the last year.
I visited this cafe on 21st November 2018 at around 2pm. The staff - two asian ladies let me wait for good 5 minutes before taking the payment, they could clearly see me but couldn't be bothered. The gentleman waiting behind me gave up and left the cafe. Then the lady taking the payment came out from behind the till to check if I have on the tray what I said I have. When I sat down the table was full of food spillages and staff wasn't bothered to clean it. I wouldn't come back at all.
Staff are canny enough but can’t even guy a bun in half properly never mind cook the food. I wouldn’t come back here unless I had no other choice. I get that it’s during a pandemic and times are hard but it’s not so bad that you can’t keep on top of a empty cafe.
Absolutely awful. Told we would have a 20 min wait for food, which was fine. Ended up being over 45 mins with no apology. At one point they even tried to give us someone else's food. The answer to the whole thing was have a complimentary refill. When the food did arrive, some of it was hot, but not all. Staff seemed thin on the ground on a busy sunday morning, with no manners or smiles. Wont be back and we have been sunday regulars.
Great place to shop. However some of the vegetarian foods are hit and miss. Some days they're in stock and some days not. Could do with a better organic fresh fruit, salad and veg selection. The cafe inside is nice too. The menu prices are fantastic and the staff are so welcoming and happy to help.
I ordered chips for my little granddaughter and they were put on the table b4 I had sat down they were disgusting obviously old and had been standing quite a while. I didn’t complain as a couple of weeks ago I had a cream scone and the cream was on the turn n gritty they did not like having a complaint and made excuses
Choice of meals, also like everything else, you can do self service, order your meal, pay for it,all in one go, get a Table No. And wait. Fantastic Technology these days. Saves Paying People, get the customers to do it themselves
Dreadful. 1 coffee machine was out of action. There was nobody serving and two out of three sandwiches we bought were dry and bland
Food and service was fine,had to sort through cutlery as not all cleaned properly.
