Food was just okay, however staff attitude is unacceptable. One staff member in particular was rude to us which to be honest put us off our food as we felt unwelcome & uncomfortable. The staff member who did eventually help us out was a lot nicer, though. Probably won’t be back, and I would much rather pay the extra at somewhere like Starbucks where staff are nicer, more attentive, and likely to answer customer queries.
Stopped while in the area for coffee and fry up. Not that busy mid morning so waited 10-15 mins which by other Morrisons I’ve used it is slow Coffee was terrible I complained they suggested trying the other self service machine- half a cup this time. Fry up - beans were the best thing about it. Sausage a bit too light on the cooking for me. Bacon cold, opted for scrambled eggs - rubbery lukewarm with hard edges seems they were sitting ready. £8.88 for half cup poor coffee and substandard fry. Will dodge next time I’m working in FK
This cafe really needs to be shut down it’s just not fit for purpose. Was in today Sunday - ordered a cheese toastie. We sat down noticed loads of tables not cleared the place looked really messy. My cup was dirty had to get a new one and we wiped our table as it was covered in crumbs and a stain. Waited 35 minutes noticed a lot of people asking about their food. Noticed at least three staff but no food or tables cleared. After 40 minutes a staff member started clearing tables I asked about my toastie - after checking was told it would be another 40 minutes!!! At no time when I was buying was I told it would be almost 90 minutes wait! We got a refund other customers doing the same - one customer waiting 55 minutes for scrambled eggs that never arrived! I complained to the Manager but the whole place needs shut down. The younger staff member clearing tables was very helpful but older staff are rude and clearly hate working there. Won’t be back
It's sad to say that the experience in the cafe at falkirk Morrisons has went severely downhill in recent years. It's an absolute carcrash at the moment: Anemic food - my bacon was half cooked, sausage was pale and soggy, my scrambled eggs weren't even scrambled eggs, it was barely even mixed between white/ yolk Terrible service - when the waitress brought out my food her remark was as she slapped the tray on the table " before you complain to me there's butter in the pot" and stormed off. Staff openly complaining to each other about customers which is extremely unprofessional. Used to come frequently, this will be the last. Tesco cafe is much better
Disappointed as it appeared there were hardly any staff e.g one person on the till in-between serving meals. Observed some customers cleaning the tables. Don't know what's happened to Morrisons? Parking: There was ample parking as you would expect at a large supermarket. Wheelchair accessibility: No problems with wheelchair accessibility.
The Morrisons Cafe in Falkirk is the most disorganised I have ever been in. Basically it is understaffed and food you want is never available. Today there was one staff member in the cafe having to deal with everything - and trying her best - with one staff member in the kitchen. No salt no tomato ketchup no clean cups. First three items I ordered weren’t available - food listed on the menu like chicken burgers are never available. Chips were hard in the centre and cold. Staff member was constantly apologetic- but not her fault. Eventually security staff and other staff came in to assist clearing tables. The cafe has great potential and is crying out for someone who can organise properly. Can I suggest whoever manages the Morrisons Cafe in Falkirk does their job!!!!
Ordered and paid for meal. Sat at table then was told thT they didn't have what I ordered. A beef burger. Was then advised they had no burgers of any description. I then ordered the Quiche, salad and chips. When order came no chips. They did arrive. Quiche had been heated in microwave as pastry was soft not crisp as I would have expected. Very disappointed. Cafe used to be always busy. Today 3 other tables occupied.
Breakfast was good reduced price deal. Don't collect your hot drink before the meal arrives. 15 minutes wait and it was very quiet. Good value.
Customer service terrible, breakfast didn't go through at kiosk machine, when question told they would sort and get food out then we could pay for it. 20 mins later had to chase order. Told order couldn't be sent until paid for. Breakdown in communication between staff not good.
Very good value and order delivered quickly - Turkey roll. However menu promised a slice of stuffing but I didn't get any. Sure the staff would have rectified but I was very short of time so let it go.
