I can not thank the doctors and receptionists here enough. They are always quick to get me a consultation/appointment and all of the doctors I have seen are super friendly, have sent me for correct tests and have been very supportive. I suffer from health anxiety and I can not thank the NHS enough. We are lucky to have them and these amazing doctors. I dread to think how much it would cost privately for what they provide.
I have been going to both surgery's but I find the waiting on phone calls too long to get through and I couldn't stay for a appointment and basically got told off. But my appointment was over 25 minutes late . What did they expect so yes I found them to be rude that time . I know Alot of pressure on them but they need more receptionist's on board only two at each practice .
Dont know why my last post was removed? I took my daughter along before all this covid stuff because she had been crying Non stop. She was around a year old at the time and I woke her up to get to the doctors as the phone wouldn’t ring the previous day when I tried to phone. The receptionist said I had to do her temperature and turned me away..! I took her straight home, I was fuming, she fell asleep in the car and I took her to the hospital that evening and we got a prescription for a throat infection, they said it was pretty bad and said what had happened at the doctors was wrong. The doctors don’t listen, they interrupt you, and if you have low mood or low self esteem they look down on you like a child. The amount of times they’ve miss diagnosed me or some one I know is unreal. And my doctor told my Nan what had been disgusted when I went along for my appointment. My prescription collection had been changed to the Franklin Avenue doctors without asking me, luckily I drive now. And when I was pregnant with my second my midwife reported me for saying no to a decision that was apparently mine to make, even after I explained my first pregnancy I thought she understood me but apparently not. I only saw her twice throughout the whole pregnancy, the hospital was disgusted I had to phone up to say I was a wk over due and didn’t know what to do or who to phone. Lucky on my third pregnancy she was on maternity leave so I didn’t have to see her. I instead saw a lovely lady who understood me. We’ve now moved doctors. Horrible experience from both Moreland and Franklin Avenue doctors
Phoned for a doctor call back appointment at nearly 6pm on Tuesday 22nd February and the young man who answered was so helpful and managed to fit me in for a next day call back. A credit to the practice and very efficient. Thank you.
I go today to the doctor with pain in chest and weakness and I get put on record ; I come with a cough
Local doctors with a pharmacy for pricripiton in you need to book appointment to see a dotor
Glorified pharmacists, needs closing down . Obviously can't get adequately qualified doctors
Trying to call to book an appointment as I am very worried about something. Not even 6pm, website says it closes at 6:30pm yet no one is at the phone..?
They are short on doctors i think since the original 3 left it has been like it
