We had a tire problem on our trip and showed up unannounced. The staff were very gracious, checked out the problem and had us on our way within an hour. The short time in Morar gave us a chance to take a lovely walk to the "Path/Steps to the Cross", and the owner gave us a great recommendation for lunch in Mallaig. Cost of the service was "enough for the staff to have tea and biscuits". Great service - great experience!Service: Tires
We were on a holiday with our campervan and are originally from the netherlands. The engine started making a ticking sound so we drove to Morar in Mallaig. They couldn't help us due to a busy scedule and a lack of supplies. That i understand. They were asked to make a diagnoses for us so we knew what the trouble was. This took them at max 15 minutes. They opened the hood, started the engine and listened. The van wasn't even driven into the garage, that short, which is perfectly fine. What wasn't fine was that i got the bill...... they charged me180 euro's for that. And they signed it of as a 2 hour job. I tried to contact them and i never heard back. So they are billing with a fork as they would say in the netherlands. Definately not recommend them, not ever. It would have suited them to correct things....Service: Engine repair
We came here for advise about our broken window. He offered us to help and tape the window until we would reach a company that can fix glass. Very thankful until we got the bill… 63 pounds for half an hour of work that we could have done ourselves!! Especially with these prices. Insane. ‘Thanks’ a lot..
Andy & the guys at Morar Motors saved the day when a tyre blew out while touring with clients, they quickly helped me get back on the road without losing any time, keeping the clients happy. The vehicle hire company had sent out the vehicle with 2 bald rear tyres with 30 psi pressure full load they should have been 49psi on the rear 44psi front!. A dangerous situation avoided and we finished the tour, clients happy. We should have checked the tyres but expected better from a reputable company, no excuses- lesson learned, many thanks again to Morar Motors.Service: Tires
Locked ourselves out of our camper and morar motors had us back in in under an hour and a half. Couldn't recommend this company enough. The gentleman that came to help was super helpful and calm which helped reassure two very stressed out ladies. Flawless service from start to finish!
Had a damaged tyre kindly spotted at a roadworks stop in the middle of nowhere Morar obtained and fitted the new tyre by the next day in time to catch the Skye ferry at MALLAIG Very appreciative of their efforts and delay by courier enabled us to view the beautiful beach at Loch Morar silver sands and enjoy a meal in Mallaig Repair at no premium for urgent delivery and fit enabled us to continue on our tour of Northern Scotland and saved miles in distance Thanks to “Dudley” Malcolm? and the rest of the staff who kept us informed of state of repairService: Tires
Had a flat tyre on a Saturday afternoon, in the middle of nowhere with our two kids and was towed to Morar motors. Thankfully he had the tyre in stock and had us back on the road, for a very reasonable price, in no time! Thank you!!Service: Tires
