Played Sunday 21/04. What an incredible course. bone dry. Greens incredible. you would think it was mid July the way the greens rolled. really friendly staff. Just a great place
Jaw dropping course, a true test of golf, an amazing experience to play, just don't expect to score well on your round, but the course will still give you an favourable time, steeped in history.
Played here on sunday31st march . Even though weather had been bad course was still in great condition and was a good challenging course which I would highly recommend to play. Everyone in our group enjoyed the day and hopefully we will visit again
Not very visitor friendly, the pro was not very informative and failed to tell our group we should download an app so we knew where the pins were placed. On arrival we were told our tee time had been given to a PGA official, no apology given. The course is OK but nothing special, we played Fulford and Pannal the same week, both are better than Moortown.

Visited today , course was in incredible condition and the greens where the best I've played on , and its Winter , incredible . Cant wait to go back in the summer. Was made to feel very welcome in the pro shop and by other members aswell. How this place is 4.6 is beyond me. Unreal course and great hospitality 10 from 10 , thankyou.
A cracking golf course. Massive greens. Many long par 4's offer up a stiff challenge, but always rewarding. Lovely clubhouse, and tidy pro shop. Made for an excellent MacKenzie double bill with nearby Alwoodley.
