I recently had the pleasure of a club fitting session with James at American Golf at Crown Point, Leeds, and I can't recommend him highly enough. From the moment I walked in, James was friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping me improve my game.  Throughout the session, James provided expert advice tailored to my specific needs and skill level, all without any pressure to make a purchase. His primary focus was on finding the right clubs to enhance my performance, not just making a sale. This approach made the experience incredibly enjoyable and stress-free.  James's genuine passion for golf and helping others was evident in every aspect of the fitting. His helpful and down-to-earth nature made it easy to trust his recommendations. If you're looking for a professional, pressure-free club fitting experience, I highly recommend visiting James at American Golf, Crown Point. He's a true asset to the store and to golfers seeking to improve their game.

Not particularly this stores fault but more of a review of American golf in general. I ordered some shoes online to be collected in store, unfortunately when I got there they didn’t have them. I contacted ag by phone to be told the order had been cancelled, there was no prior notification of cancellation and I am still waiting for my refund… will it ever arrive. There was no gesture of goodwill despite my inconvenience and I will now miss my upcoming round/s of golf until I receive my elusive refund and can buy some shoes elsewhere. Do not order online and don’t expect anything resembling customer service when contacting them by phone.

I have recently purchased the new TaylorMade Qi10 Driver, and the Stealth 2, 5 Wood. I was custom fitted by James, The Manager, at Leeds Crown Point, following earlier outstanding service when he was based in York.  Having been recommended to move to a 9.0 degree driver, set at 9.25 degrees, I was a tad sceptical, having previously been using a Stealth 10.5 degree driver set at 11.25 degrees of loft.  Well, James was spot on, I have added at least 10% to both my driver and 5 wood. I am hitting the ball better, further, and straighter than ever, and it's down to James' expert custom fit.  I generally average 245yds with driver and 220yds with the 5 wood. On saturday, at Waterton Park, I hit my driver 305yds on the 14th, and 5 wood 245yds on the 11th.  Thank you James. You have demonstrated how quality custom fit can make our golfing dreams a reality!

This is my regular go to for golf. Just got some clothes the other day and shoes. It’s local to me. Easy parking - great opening hours and the guys are super knowledgable! The fitting bays are set up really nice. Large putting green and clothes for women!

Huge showroom with a massive range of clubs, bags, clothes and footwear.  There's a massive putting green and also club fitting facilities.  This shop is setting the yardstick now for golf shopping.  Well done american golf leeds.

I had a custom fitting with Alex and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Alex was very knowledgeable and explained all of the data as I tried different clubs and different combinations. I never felt rushed and really felt Alex found me the best set of clubs to move my game forward. The putter fitting was also great! I would not hesitate to recommend this service. A big thank you, it was well worth the trip to Leeds from Lincoln for such a thorough and informative  session

Had a great experience here being fitted for clubs. Alex was brilliant making sure I chose the right clubs for me, not pushing anything I didn't need or more expensive just to make the sale. Even some free coaching during the fitting - what more could you ask for. All the staff I have dealt with at American Golf Leeds have been friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Had a Full iron Fitting with Alex today, and couldn’t be happier! Spot on lad and very knowledgeable! Never felt rushed in the slightest. He went into detail throughout the fitting allowing me to find the best irons suited to me. Would 100% recommend Alex and will be getting Fit again with him.

We visited the store today for a custom fit with our grandson, which was an amazing and professional service. Alex did an amazing job, explaining everything in simple and understandable terms, whilst not being pushy or rushing the fitting. Would 100% recommend both American Golf Leeds and also the services of Alex.

I went for a fitting and can honestly say from start to finish it was a great experience. The team at crown point have a wealth of knowledge and this was shown in the Iron fitting I received on the day. Alex kindly fitted me for some new irons, from the start Alex made me feel welcome, took the time to fully understand what I want from my game, my irons and helped consider many options with the custom fit. I never felt rush or pressured at any point during the fitting, very enjoyable experience. Throughout the fitting it was great to engage in conversation about the game, trying different things to get the most out of my swing and the irons themselves. In short I can't recommend visiting Crown point enough be it for a fitting or to have a browse around the endless products they have in store. I'll certainly be heading back in the near future!
