I attended this practice for a routine blood test yesterday. Today my arm is very bruised and painful. I'm a blood donor and have never experienced bruising and discomfort from giving blood. If the Practice would like me to submit ba photograph of the bruising please forward the relevant link.
Honestly i would give it 0.5 stars. Worst GP i've been to in my life. Arrived on time and they said that i had to wait 15-20mins for the doctor because he was running late then ended up waiting a whole hour and everyone who came after us were seen whilst we waited. Service was absolutely disgusting. When i asked the receptionist where the doctor was, she had nasty attitude as if i didn't wait one hour. Very useless and not kind, felt some nasty vibes there DEFINITELY wouldn't recommend. The whole practice needs to do better in their service. Disappointing!!
I do not understand how the call centre can be at capacity if i call at 08:00:10 am in the morning. I called at 7:59 and it says the surgery is closed and the opening time is from 8 am to 6:30. So when i called at 10 seconds past 8, it says the call centre is very busy and it is at capacity so i cant be even in a queue. How can this surgery get 30-40 calls in 10 seconds? There is something wrong the way this surgery is managing their appointment centre. It is extremely difficult to get an appointment and i appreciate due to covid there is back log but this 10 seconds scenario is impossible to understand. It is good service once you get an appointment but appointment itself is difficult.
This is my regular surgery and have had problems in the past, however the organisation for flu jabs today was outstanding. I arrived to a long queue outside, but this soon went down as people were moved quickly through the one way system. Plenty of friendly volunteers to move people through, and several health professionals giving the jabs. The only took 10 minutes from my arrival time. Brilliant service.
I wouldn’t even give this surgery a one star. Had an appointment with the nurse, I called to say I was going to be late. Arrived 10 mins late because of shambolic bus service, 2 busesand was told because I arrived late the nurse wouldn’t see me because she was running late. The surgery could have called me to re-book but they couldn’t be bothered. This partnership has really gone down the drain, and nobody from the senior managers to the clerks give a hoot.
Do not join this GP!!! Phoned out of hours doctor during the weekend as my 11months old son was screaming in pain. Couldn’t even get to speak to a doctor, just had a message read out to us by a receptionist about how temperatures in babies are normal etc etc. 48hrs later my sons eardrum burst from an ear infection. The thought of my baby in excruciating pain, potentially for 48hrs longer than necessary fills me with rage. Do not join this GP! Since the pandemic it has turned itself into a vaccination facility. No matter what time you call in the day you are in a queue of 40+ people and actually seeing a doctor in person is harder than getting a meeting with the queen!
I have never felt so humilated with how I've been treated at this surgery. The time to get through on the phone can 2too4 hrs my shortest time was 45 minutes. They continuely leave me with out my medication and I'm on very strong meds. Even if i do happen too get a phone appointment with a Dr it's like winning a lottery ticket too which Dr you get sometimes you get a good Dr other times you get a doctor that straight away you can tell they're not interested and just want get rid me. I'm chronically sick and most of time in horrendous pain. The only thing I have done wrong was getsick very very sick a simple enquiry too my Dr surgery ie has my prescription been sent too pharmacy last week turned in to a humiliating embarrassing and shamefull experience she gave me codes and said I must go home and ring my pharmacy and reliterate these codes to him, which I did only the codes were from last week and were not viable for the week I needed them back round too the surgery I went the reception it yet again was far from helpful and spoke so loudly the whole patient waiting which was quite full could hear my buisness.this week I was put through a simalar humiliating situation. I wish could never have too get in touch with a Dr's surgery in again in my life time , the nature of my illnesses cannot permit that. And I think that's where truth lies they know that no matter how badly they treat me I'm always going have too seek their advice at some point and I truly believe that's why some not all at GPS feel they can it treat me like something they've scraped of their shoe as they come into work. I know it has been trying time's with the pandemic but is their really any need for them too continue treating me like this. It's left feeling totally humilated and very very reluctant too contact them ,no matter how bad my conditions worsen.
I asked for prescription at the beginning of 2021, the nurse said will follow and ask the doctor to issue to me. I waited for 2 weeks and no reply.I went to the clinic to ask again. Same reply but never received the prescription from the doctor. I have to ask my relative in overseas to send me the drugs to help my high cholesterol level. I was so disappointed and going to register on other NHS service provider this year.
Although my usual doctor is great cannot get an appointment or even get through to the practice for the last two years. It's gone so downhill since joining SHP. I even had to go to another practice for help with breast lumps. I was given antibiotics from the other surgery but the problem still persists. I have other problems also. Just feeling awful
Aside from the more general issues such as it being next to impossible to book an appointment or even get through on the telephone, like the previous reviewer I had my repeat prescription refused without any communication and found out only after physically having to go to the surgery to speak to someone. I have a potentially life shortening condition and no medication left.
