First time at Monera and was a lovely experience. Went in for a wax was very comfortable. Will be going back again to try out other treatment options
Going to Monera for some pampering the facials and massages are bliss - try the Clarins Tri-Active and add a back massage for a really indulgent, relaxing but super effective outcome or for what I call "essential maintenance " such as nails and toes. The service is great from the welcome you get when you walk through the door, to the skills of all of the girls in whatever treatment you have. Small things like remembering how you take your coffee and talking you through new products with no pressure to buy makes Monera really special. It's the best beauty salon in the area. So much so that I've stopped going to Hartwell House for my treatments and instead put myself in the professional and caring hands at Monera.
I only go for Waxing. They use the same strips over and over which increases my pain, but decreases their costs. I'm not overly pleased with that. You leave with MANY sticky patches - baby oil cleans it off, but the don't prioritise the clean-up. I always wear trousers because of this You never see the same person twice and as the attention to detail is subjective, you can't guarentee the quality of the result. There's no consideration for the bashful among us - they mill around the room as you undress. The staff are friendly and the rooms are adequate.
