Useless. Much harder work than this needs to be. Bristol City Council have outsourced all resident parking permits to this company. Had to change registration on the permit and cannot do this because the app will not support that. I have sent 2 emails in last 3 weeks and had one part response and one ignored. Constantly being asked to go to an online FAQ page and to email is frustrating to say the least when there is no answer. Called and once connected they cancelled the existing permit and tried to set up a new permit., They could not take card payment. I was transferred to Bristol City Council but incorrect team. Then had to wait in another queue. Once paid then told it will take 24hours to then set up new permit with back office support. All the while unable to park on the street. JUST RIDICULOUS! Taken nearly 2 hours of chasing to get this far.
Horrible customer service, unprofessional staff. I got an issue with my residence permit. Took them 2 months to cancel a rejected permit and refund me the money. I called them at-least 5 times to sort this out. 3 out of 5 didn't understand whats happening, 4th promised me a callback from a manager didn't happened until today. The final person hang up the phone on me but at the end she was able to do something as few hours later my permit got cancelled and the money was refunded.
Terrible attitude. Tried to renew our resident's permit after updating payment details. The app doesn't let you, apparently, if it isn't on auto renew you cannot do it, you have to phone them and wait forever to find out if you are just not clever enough to use the app or is there a fault. After a long wait, and hearing they report you to the police if rude! some bossy thing answered and said it had to be by phone, the phone you cannot get through on! She also told me to call at the weekend when it's quiet! Today is Tuesday, I'm sure the council don't ticket until the weekend then?... During the conversation, where she couldn't use the bank details from the system as said that was only for carparking payments? how would you know?! MiPermit took 2 lots of 10p pre authorisation from my bank account, which they round up so in effect £2, this just took me a few pence below the £40 I had to pay so the payment was refused to MiPermit because they took pre authorisation which I couldn't use for a residents permit? I still do not know why and why they did it twice. I cannot see why there is no better system than to wait on a phone call when it would be far simpler to do it all on the App and save call waiting times.
Probably the worst payment system and location find function i have ever seen, no doubt on purpose so you give up and get a ticket...why councils allow these type of company's to exist is beyond me, all in the name of pound notes and holiday's in the sun i imagine...S*hite site p*ack of Cu&ts
Useless. Tried to pay for parking in Chichester Northgate. App refused to complete transaction saying that I couldn't pay after the time I arrived. Both my phone clock and the entered time were the same 12.03pm. Chichester CC please ditch this app and use Ringo like many other city councils.
App not that hard to use but two weeks ago it had my registration details now it claims I have no account ! Give me card / cash payment any day
Charlotte Steet BATH! Sort it out! Ridiculous. You spend half your time fiddling about scanning and trying to pay. You have to be mobile phone savvy!!I And as for adding extra time extremely frustrating. Text didn't work and neither the help line..all gone home. Thanks for ruining an almost perfect day. Not to mention millions of stressed out tourists ! Bring on the eye, voice scanner, pay and Move on!! Lifes too short for like this!! Deeply old fashioned technology!
Absolutely hopeless. On hold for 50 minutes. Person on the other end was less than useless. Very much ‘computer says no’ mentality, feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with them. Hope you have more luck than I did!
Awful over powering staff who don't let you speak. Bristol city council should change and not give this rotten company money.
utterly hopeless and expensive . App never works , keeps on failing or locking …and can never reach them to unlock . I am a resident , I live where I park and I have been fined coz this app and the service is so appalling !!! But do they give a s**t ? ..No !
