The Wakefield branch really saved my bacon on moving day. Was let down by another firm on the morning of the move. Within 30 minutes I'd arrived and was driving away in a Luton Van which was clean and spacious.  The 2 ladies in reception were lovely. Full of banter and smiling faces which was what was needed when stress levels were high. Cannot thank this company enough.

First class service.  Both buses never let us down. A very competitive rate and they looked after us above and beyond what was expected.

I've been using the Wakefield branch for over 14 years and always had a satisfactory experience. Staff great and very helpful/accommodating, van's reliable and deposits returned immediately - never had the slightest quibble on condition but, then again, I did look after their vehicles while in use.  Highly recommended and lower prices than the corporate firms.

Excellent service, professional and would happily recommend to  anyone considering using them.

I read the 1* reviews so I was anxious about the refund of my deposit but the whole thing went down smoothly. Was our house move and luckily i hired a bigger van £65 which suited us perfectly as I wanted a small one. On inspection he showed me all faults, scratches on paper, then on return I handed van back on time but forgot my paper work for my own records incase they blamed something on us on the return inspection but no he said all done once checked , you will get your deposit back within 1-2 days etc. You need to make sure the fuel is same amount once returned

I still have to pick up the Vehicle as yet from these guys which is the 30th July but I phoned up the first time to check and book then the 2nd time to do an enquiry.  I booked a with Tori who was wonderful, great customer service and friendly and helpful throughput the enquiry / booking of the vehicle, I was after a people carrier but Tori explained they don't do them but kindly offered a 9 seater which I booked and paid a deposit for , I did have to ring back a couple of times to get the acknowledgement sent to me but this wasn't Tori's fault at a , it was me who had a problem with my email.  I then rang up yesterday 28/06 to enquire about if I needed to have a D1 on my licence to hire the vehicle,  it wasn't Tori I spoke to on this occasion but another lady , she did give her name but I can't remember it unfortunately, but she was absolutely wonderful,  I was worried about .y enquiry as I thought I couldn't hire but the lady sorted my query easily and very professionally and friendly. So far I'm very impressed with this company and .out definitely the staff , big thank you and we'll done from me . 10/10  .

Excellent service by lovely people. All was as it should be and I hired an excellent car in great clean condition. Loved it. When there was a hitch, someone bumped me, the whole staff helped me sort out the claim and explained what will happen. It means I didn't get my deposit back but will do as soon as it's all settled. I've every hope they'll be as efficient as they have been so far. Thank you Wakefield minster self drive

The van we were supplied had seen it's best days, it was old, noisy and cost a fortune to run. Not everything on the vehicle worked correctly. For the money we paid we would have expected better. We paid less at another company and got a brand new reliable van.  The staff were very helpful though. They just need to upgrade a few vehicles.
