We are not talking top of the range 5-star hotel luxury this is a bed and breakfast by the sea however the area is popular and usually bed and breakfast accommodation is expensive or very much out of the way with difficult parking and the town is so busy in the summer. The pub that is attached to the B&B serves very nice food and there is a good variety on offer. As it is downstairs you would think there would be a lot of noise but in fact there isn't. There are a few locals the occasional passerby and beach goer but mostly guests so it tends to be all over by about 10 o'clock. Having said that it's a great place to stay because you can get a night cap without having to drive afterwards. You can walk into the town centre with ease in my case I use my mobility scooter and it only took three or four minutes to beach the centre of Barmouth. The location is beautiful right on the edge of the beach. The landlady and her daughter are very much involved and you see them regularly which means any concerns are handled quickly. Dogs are more than welcome both in the pub and in some rooms and even though they had refurbished almost all of the hotel except three rooms one of which I stayed in it was still very clean and comfortable. I would love to stay in one of the upgraded rooms next time I visit. And there will be a next time

Excellent food reasonably priced execellent location, very warm and friendly, clean and tidy. Dogs allowed, greeted and given treat. Couldn't recommend highly enough

The hotel is in a beautiful location with fantastic views of the seafront. It is also conveniently located within easy walking distance of the town. The room was clean and spacious. The staff are all pleasant and I would recommend the hotel.
