Very interesting hotel. Actually looks like classical big hotels but it seems as if it is run by a few people. Especially the two nice people in the breakfast hall was working like bees. Breakfast was also very good. Interesting elevator system that stop s between 2 floors 0.5 floor :. It has a supermarket nearby and located near to bus and train stops.
Good value for money hotel in Eccles. Very quick walk to the local train station and the metro line. Perfect for a stopover near Manchester. Room was spacious with a modern and clean bathroom. Nice staff. Great views. Only bad side is the exterior.. It's an old office block and doesn't look very appealing from the outside.Rooms: 4/5
This is the dirtiest and worst hotel I've ever seen, from the reception, to the hallway and then the room. I felt sick walking into the reception. I didn't want to judge at the entrance so I asked to see the room. It was absolutely disappointing. We booked this online for my honeymoon and it was nothing like we saw online. They ruined my night! I cried so hard and was distressed as we had to find another hotel to stay for the night. I complained to the hotel and they asked us to speak with the booking agency. The booking agency then contacted the hotel and they agreed on a cancellation without a charge. We then booked another hotel for the night only to get an email from the booking agency that the cancellation will have to be paid for. It was generally a horrible experience!!!
I don't have high enough praise for my stay here! It's cleanliness and hygiene of the rooms are second to non! TV, double bed, hairdryer, huge shower, hot shower, phone, tea coffee station, blackout curtains,.ac/heating all for 39 quid!! Oh and most importantly clean carpet and bedding! Oh and huge clean towels that cover you from neck to toes! Food all day! The restaurant staff are amazing! The proper check in desk and procedures lockable door, key card entry. WiFi! It's everything it says it is!
Stayed here for one night and my room had not been properly cleaned. Hair in the toilet and would not fully flush away. DISGUSTING. Would've reported to the reception but was in a rush for the football and by the time I got back it was closed. Otherwise the hotel is just about OK, decent rooms and an on-site bar+restaurant. Location is far from ideal as it's a bit of a trek from anything major. Unfortunately my stay was ruined by this lack of cleanliness and when I told the staff the following day, they made zero effort to placate me.
Yes, it's a strange building but my room top floor was spotless and up to date. Breakfast paid extra was an a la carte and the full English was brilliant and huge. Handy location for my business trip but tram is about 8 minutes walk away and about 35 minutes journey into city centre. At the price I paid, I have no grumbles. Worth noting, shower gel provided but no other toiletries.
Good value for money, nice room, and great breakfast. Strange location and very strange hotel layout and wouldn't recommend for a romantic weekend away. Very good for a business trip or something like that.Rooms: 4/5
Really nice rooms, won't be able to open windows, though you have hot and cold unscented ventilation, Room service refreshes anything you used towels, tea, coffee, sugar, bed sheets, pillow sheets. No fridge in room, hangers are attached in the open wardrobe, excellent breakfast and dinner, though Wi-Fi tends to be an off on sort of thing. Right outside to the front of the hotel the hotel you will find an Aldi supermarket and a few other restaurants within your vicinity. Overall a very nice hotel would visit again
Hotel/Office Block/Job Centre/University Campus.... without doubt, one of the more surreal places to stay in Manchester! As others have said - this is a hotel in part of a large semi-derelict office block. Rooms are nice enough, but you cant open the windows and there's no air-con. Main shared-use part of the building is tired and it all feels a bit post-apocolyptic! Does the job, if you are loking for a cheap one-night stayover, but forget it if youre hoping to impress your other half! Also, car parking is totally open, so don't leave anything of value on show.
Perfect location if watching United - 2 min walk to tram. Bar open unil 0100 with cheap beers - perfectRooms: 4/5
