If you are built over 2xl, forget it. This branch is closing down with some bargains to be had. Staff awsome considering that their shop is going. For me, Go Outdoors is better.
Great place, just ask Chris or Luke for assistance with whatever you need for your adventures and you'll be sorted. Proud to support my local Millets store with customer service like theirs, plus why buy online when you can walk in and take your purchase away same day for the same price without all the hassles and cost of delivery? Cant see the thing you need? Just ask them like I did, they've got loads more items in stock than you see. Thanks Chaps for all your help and advice too.
Staff bought down stairs the items I needed, very helpful and friendly, great prices, and came to back door to my car because I'm 80 and couldn't manage .Will go back definitely.

Very helpful staff. Not the biggest store that millets have but they've still managed to fit in a lot of stock into a small space. Staff always happy to help if you have any question.
Its a great store with a huge selection of clothing and footwear. All good quality and you won't be disappointed. Whats best of all is the staff. Very friendly and so helpful. The prices are competitive as well so can't beat it
Fantastic service today from a young man who advised me on a new pair of walking shoes. He really knew what he was talking about, listening to me, and taking into account my requirements. I've ended up with a perfect, comfortable pair of shoes. Thank you!
We foolishly bought two rucksacks online to choose from for my daughters DofE, we couldn't get them to fit right. Millets does have a return to store policy for on line orders so we trotted into the Blackpool store to get " proffesional" help and return which ever did not fit. The first young man to try and help us had less than no idea about hiking packs, but he didn't admit that, and he tried to bullsh*t his way through. Having watched some youtube videos on rucksack fitting I called him on his lack of knowledge and asked for another assistant. Next we got Luke, he clearly had done some back packing and DofE but admitted the Blackpool store wasn't equipped to properly fit rucksacks. Luke did however go the extra mile to help us out, he fabricated a "load" to put in the rucksacks, he then spend over an hour desimating his display, adjusting and re-adjusting not just the two rucksacks we had bought, but several others from the shop. Not aided by the grumpy older bloke possibly his manager who was nagging him to tidy up the rucksack display whilst he was still busy trying to help us. We did end up with a pack, although it was 10L smaller than the original ones we bought, so I am not totally convinced it will see my daughter through Dof E but it will get her through bronze in a few weeks.
Came here looking for a good quality waterproof lightweight jacket and found just what I wanted. The man who served me was very helpful and there was a spacious fitting room. There's a wide range of outdoor clothes for both men and women and you can also buy special cleaning and reproofing products for them. Walking boots, rucksacks, sleeping bags and camping gear are upstairs. Some great discounts.
Fantastic. So happy that the shops are starting to open. Great to be served by real people. The guy who served me was pleased to be back. He was Freindly, cheerful despite everything and it was nice to have a face to face conversation with someone. Let's all take care. Stick to the rules and help the shops and everyone get back to as near normal as quickly as possible. Welcome back....
