Warm and welcoming atmosphere. We booked online at short notice for lunch. Great lunch time menu & prices. The lady who served us was brilliant and very hospitable. Food was delicious. Unfortunately we were unable to leave a tip on the card payment. It's one of my favourite places to dine & I'm looking forward to our next visit. I did notice a few cobwebs in the window where we were seated.
Great meal tonight, went on Sunday and had the good value set meal with a few upgrades. Food was excellent all round. Service was great too.Food: 5/5

Food was fantastic. I will say the waitering service was a little to be desired. Alot of confusion was going on around. We waited for forks and water and I had 3 bent steak knives which looked like they were used as screwdrivers
Great atmosphere, comfortable seating and really great service. The drinks and food menus are extensive which is a large plus. The most notable thing is the steak obviously, the doneness is always done perfectly which is rare to find. Overall great for special events due to the pretty high price but the price is completely acceptable.
Food excellent, meal deal for lunchtime. Waiter very polite but kept forgetting our drinks and we never got our water. Yes would go back especially lunchtime.
We visited Miller and Carter talke for a mother's day meal on the Sunday. We were greeted by front of house, only to be told that our booking was invalid as we should of booked for 3 people even though our 6 month old baby obviously wasn't eating and didn't require a space. When placing the booking I left a note stating we would need a space for a pram. We were left waiting for 5 minutes only to be told that everything was fine and they were able to accommodate. Why make a big deal about it in the first place, they read the note and was already aware and had foreseen the issue, still decided to teach me a lesson maybe? Either way, first impressions not great. We then ordered drinks and I had to change my daughter. Off I went to the baby change facilities and was greeted with what can only be described as the worst and dirtiest facitiles I've come across since having my daughter. I made a member of staff from behind the bar aware of it, had to go again roughly 30 minutes later and it was in exactly the same state. When our food arrived the onion loaf was cold and undercooked. I pointed this out to a waiter only to be told that is how it should be and that he could get me another piece, but it will be exactly the same. Very disappointed with this visit as we use to come here all the time a few years ago and loved it. Seems they have forgotten the basics, didn't feel as personal and sadly couldn't recommend after this visit.
Lovely meal in a lovely setting. The staff were doing their best and seemed a little short handed but we fully appreciated all their efforts to get our meal to us. I would have given 5 stars but the food had a few little issues that meant I had to deduct one if I was being fair amongst all the reviews I've left before. I'm sure when everyone gets fully up to speed again these things will automatic correct themselves and next time I will be leaving 5. I made no complaints on the day though as I could see how hard they were all working and that they were being tested. Hopefully others are fair too given circumstances.
Lovely lunchtime venue, nice food selection with reasonable prices for the time of day. Busy but still had good service.
Had a lovely service via Emmie Atmosphere was sweet and relaxing Food and drinks were great had an strawberry n blueberry rum mojitos followed with starters and mains. They even gave me a box to put the left bone and meat for my doggo
