Meal was great. Service was okay. Can't really go wrong with Millar and Carter. The lunch menu in particular is great. Onion loaf was good as always. Steak perfectly cooked. Definetly recommend. The only thing I would say is that the restaurant had a strange smell. Maybe there was a burst pipe that day or something.
Ate here for the first time in Retaurant Week - 2 courses £20. Great value, great quality of food and delicious. Steak cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and welcoming from start to finish. TOM our server was excellent. Great customer service skills - friendly, professional and helpful. A perfect example of how customer service should be delivered.
Had such a lovely Sunday at miller and carter. I'm gluten free and Jess was more than helpful. My partner and I wanted to have the Sunday set menu and Jess let me swap some starters/desserts so I could have some gluten free options. Nothing was a bother for her and she went out of her way for us. Dietary restrictions: As I mentioned above, I'm gluten free and Jess was so helpful in letting me know what was safe for me to eat and making any adjustments.
First of all, I would like to say that I was satisfied with this experience. The food quality, service, and atmosphere were great. It was a busier place than I had expected. The service was fast, and the waiter was attentive, offering us some recommendations. We really enjoyed the steak, but there were a few sinewy parts that I encountered. Despite chewing several times, I couldn’t swallow them. While the meat was generally tender and easy to eat, I would have preferred not to come across those sinewy bits. Aside from the sinewy parts of the steak, the doneness and tenderness were excellent. The sauces and potatoes that came with the dish were also very good. However, I found the separate plate of lettuce with mayonnaise and parmesan a bit odd. The lettuce was simply quartered and placed on the plate, which felt underwhelming alongside such a well-prepared steak. It didn’t quite match the quality of the rest of the meal. We had the Butcher’s Block, which is served for two, and aside from the few sinewy parts ı mentioned earlier, we really enjoyed it. The variety of wines on the menu was also impressive, and we were pleased with the selection. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and ı would definitely recommend it for a nice evening out.
If I could give this moat amazing experience a 10 I would. As someone who has an allergy, it was amazing to feel confident in the serving person. I felt totally confident in his sound knowledge of the menu that I was 'safe'. His wine knowledge was very impressive too. From the moment we walked in we were looked after. The food was totally amazing for both of us, so totally amazing that this is lacking photos, we enjoyed the moment that much, the phone was away! The menus are impressive, and they have a link to glass onion to select your allergen, which tells you what you can or can't eat. I did this before we choose to visit, plus dropped them an email with regards my allergy. The whole restaurant was vibrant, but not loud, it had great design and high architecture, which meant although they had alot of tables in it felt very airy. Overall this was a totally amazing experience which I would really love to go back to. "Jonny" our server was so, so helpful, his experience was invaluable. Dietary restrictions: Absolutely amazing with dietary requirements, they use glass onion app, download and check before you go!!
I was celebrating my 50th wedding anniversary with my beautiful wife and Miller and Carter has left the best impressions! Welcoming environment, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and a wonderful dessert. I recommend it to everyone! I would love to come back here again and again. Tom, our waiter, provided exceptional service, making our dining experience truly memorable. His attentiveness and warmth added to the overall charm of the place. Don’t miss out on the fantastic food and Tom’s friendly service. For anyone considering trying it, you’re welcome for this one

Lovely place, as all Miller and Carters are. Steak is always beautifully cooked, to whatever taste you like, and very flavoursome. Would highly recommend Fillet Mignon rather than Fillet, as it’s only a couple of pounds more. Onion wedge on the side is a nice touch, along with the lettuce/salad wedge as a pre-steak side not sure if you eat this before or during the steak, though!. The garlic butter adds a lot of flavour onto the steak too. Chips, I think, are not homemade, though, but still quite nice and nice presentation. I think there is a decent choice for vegans/vegetarians too, considering this is a steakhouse. Staff are very friendly, and service is fairly good, though drinks can take a while sometimes. Atmosphere is nice, with quite nice decor and a lovely building. Overall, a lovely Miller and Carter, and great experiences every time I visit. I look forward to returning, hopefully very soon! :
Very good experience. Never been to a miller and carter steakhouse before. All our food was lovely! Laura was our waitress and was very attentive and helpful. Made sure our gluten free family member was cared for too. Dietary restrictions: Great options for gluten free people
Saw this place from the Toon Tour bus and just had to go and we were not disappointed! Amazing cocktails, steaks and service from Amelia and front of house. Best steaks we've ever tasted! Hope to come back one day Food: 5/5
