Only complaint is the website said this was open till 5pm (4th Feb) took a 20 mile drive to find it was still closed. Would be a good idea to have some up to date information on the website about when the cafe re-opens! Otherwise a great place to visit and eat at. 😁

Good dog-friendly cafe, very interesting exhibition about the history of the area, and my husband loves to visit the second-hand bookshop! Lovely crafts from local artists too. We had to visit more than once!

This used tae be our favourite place tae eat in Gatehouse. Well recommended meals and all home cooked also nae bad cuppa. Dunno if the Bookshop still there but it is a must just tae see the creakin shelves an survivin yer visit amongst them! .x.
