Cannot but warn of the steep path here and those of limited disability will find it hard. There is a small shop area on the gatehouse and car parking isnae a problem. Being a stone's throw away frae Gatehouse food and drinks can be had in the village. Very interesting history well explained on interpretive boards.

Very cool tower house. Very quiet, we were the only people there.

Brilliant castle. You can see and go up three levels to the top. Buy a guide book gives the history of the family that lived there. Ahs they weren't very nice either
