We visited for dinner time! It was difficult park near the restaurant, dinner time it will be better booked. You may wait bit long time to be served. And one lady staff was not really friendly but helpful. Food was great! For food 5 starts. Specially noodle! Broth was very good we will be back to try other food!!
The food was very delicious! The sushi was good quality. The signature ramen was very tasty but bear in mind that is a fusion between Japanese ramen and Thai curry. Personally I loved it, but it might not be to your taste if you don't like Thai food. The whole restaurant is a fusion restaurant and they offer many tasty options. It was not very busy on a week day. Service was okay.
Me and my sister went right after a concert at the O2 Shepherd's Bush venue just across the road and they were so kind to let us dine in even if it was very late. We ordered various dishes, hot and cold, and they were all delicious.. my sister couldn't stop saying she had the best salmon rolls ever. I'm vegan and there were fair choices for me too, I enjoyed a lot. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and kind. Nice atmosphere, friendly and super fast service. Some dishes are quite pricey compared to other cheaper places around but you can tell the difference between and it's worth it. Would definitely recommend.
I've had food from here several times and feel that the sushi and side dishes are excellent and fresh, however I'm not a fan of the mains. The restaurant is more fusion and not authentic Japanese, and the mains are just so so. Your mileage may vary - it may be just my taste - but I feel the mains are just average - don't get me wrong, they are not terrible, just average and hence not worth their asking price as there are plenty of better alternative establishments locally. For example the Teriyaki salmon is just fried salmon with soy sauce on top, rather than having been marinated and cooked in Teriyaki sauce. The Mikawa special ramen is more like curry laksa than ramen, and the noodles are too gooey and stuck together and the broth is not Japanese style. So for me I'd just stick to the sushi. Also, in case it matters, their food is not halal and they don't accept Amex.
Sushi was great and we both ordered Donburi for main wasn't a big fan of it. I felt it was too blant and lacking flavour. Went on Monday evening so very quite, despite that service wasn't great. I had to ask for drink even though we ordered it with the food.
This place is a small gem in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush. The interior is very inviting as are the people & the sushi is so fresh. I highly recommend both the Salmon Don which comes with a miso soup and the seaweed salad. The food came quickly and is reasonably priced. A great little spot for a quick, healthy and tasty dinner!
Excellent food and a very good range of dishes too. Extremely good sushi too. Very peaceful dining experience and fast takeaway/delivery. Photo is of Singapore Laksa with prawns and tofu. Very tasty and with a good spicy punch to it. Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from and they are very accommodating with dietary requirements.
Not too bad, in terms of selection. However as per the rice and fish don , the fish didn’t really have that freshness experienced in the other restaurants I visited . Miso soup was too Luke warm and tasted like packet bought miso sachets. The katsu was good and sake selection.
The food here is not authentic at all. Although not authentic, the food itself was also bad. The vegetable bento had 3 aubergines, 2 lotus root and 2 pumpkins - where is the variety? The bento also came with pumpkin croquets which were mushy and was also paired with sweet chili sauce, which isn’t authentic at all and doesn’t pair well with the bento. The ‘salad’ was hot and barely had any sauce - there were so little leaves you could barely call it a salad. The rice itself was the worst out of everything. It was so wet and mushy that you couldn’t even see the individual grains of rice. It wasn’t wet enough to be congee. It was just a pile of mush. Overall, the most authentic part of the bento was the bento box itself. The ramen was subpar and the California roll was ok at best.
