Avoid, car broke down after 460 miles and 21 days and was recovered 3 weeks ago, where it still is, dead, Clutch gone and many other issues. The car was advertised as being in good condition and mechanically sound with a full service history. They conveniently 'lost' the service history which has never appeared. They have totally ignored all phone calls and emails since the car was returned on a low loader. As of today I am taking them to court under the 2015 Consumer Rights Act for a full refund plus court and debt recovery costs, as the car was not of satisfactory quality, not as described and not fit for purpose. Avoid at all costs, these guys are the worst type of dodgy used car dealer which most people thought had gone bust years ago.
The worst car sales I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. unhelpful full of lies .Don't trust this company with your hard earned cash been trying to get a refund for a car I perchaced that never turned up even though I payed extra for delivery and they are doing everything they can to hold off the refund and also noticed one of the good reviews is someone linked with the car sales under the name Armando who the payment had been processed too . Wouldn't have give one star review but only way to leave a review .They deserve to be closed down hope people see all the hurendus review before they deal with them wish I had .
Purchased a car from them at the end of November for £1900. They claimed their mechanic had looked it over and everything was good. In less then 2 weeks the transmission computer had failed and a short caused the heating system to melt. A local mechanic looked at it and the car had a set of very armature wire splices and cut wires hanging from from the fuse box. that should have been a red flag if a mechanic had actually looked at the car before letting it leave the lot. They agreed to repair the car at no cost to us but took 2 additional weeks to actually collect the car. It has been nearly 3 months that they have had the car with no sign of it being repaired any time soon and they refuse to acknowledge our requests for a refund. We have been calling them several times a week to try and get this sorted with no result and whenever we go to the dealership in person we just get a salesperson apologising and promising he will talk to management for us, who never seems to be there, also producing no results. When we go around back we see our car in the same spot in the same state it was over a month ago with no evidence of work being done. When we confronted them about how unacceptable it is for it to take this long we were told " We're working on it, other cars have been here longer then yours." This is a completely unacceptable business practice. We have been forced to pay for a rental car out of our own pocket. At this point we could have bought the same car a second time from a more reputable dealer with all the expense this has cost us. We found this car via gumtree but I wish I had googled the dealer before going to look at the car. I never would have dealt with mid norfolk. Apparently for every person who has a good purchase experience with them there are 2 like me. Do yourself a favour and stay away.
One star is is the least I can do that has left a bad taste in my mouth. This company and its many different names, Mid Norfolk motor company Swaffham trade sales Arena 2000 Pit stop cars Black wing The car broker S and s car sales And as it looks they are clearing the site to start another new name. I payed a visit to this site and spoke to the other business at the old train shed and although they are vehicle related workshops and body shops have confirmed that they have no association with the car sales and do not carry out any work for them. Please be aware they will take your money and sell you a car that has just come straight from the auction with no checks carried out. I will update when the new name is up as I pass every day.
DONT TRUST THESE COWBOYS WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!! To start of, I turned up to buy my 2006 vw touran to find that the car had not even been prepared by the guys, we had traveled over 2 hours to get the car to be told we have to come back an hour later. Upon leaving a man called Ian said I had 1 month Warranty on the car. On the way home in the new car we noticed the fuel gauge didn't seem to be working after we had put £30 diesel in the car. Also a few days later the airbag fault light came on, on the dashboard. We decided to take the car to a vw specialist to be told the steering wheel airbag needed replacing at a cost of £170. After they had fitted the new airbag they had found numerous faults with the car including every single airbag in the car was faulty. I thought enough was enough so I rang these guys up to ask why they had sold me a dodgy car, I was told that the car was fine when it was sold it clearly wasn't I state that the car was still under warranty. They began to get abusive to me over the phone and the said I was stupid. I have had NOTHING but problems with the car since I bought it. Please ANYONE considering buying a car from these reckless cowboys need to decide if these are the right people to go to.
Went to view a car, tradesman was friendly at first but however the car not as advertised online. The pictures online were very outdated, seeing as the exhaust tip had no rust online, then when viewed, the tip was covered in rust. 124k mileage reading, then when we went to view it was 131k - the excuse was he "had to travel far to get the fuel pump done". That does not explain why 7000+ miles were done on it.. Asked if the vehicle was in an accident - he just said no, sounded very unsure. Quick look online for MOT history, seemed as if the mileage had been tampered with previously. The bonnet catch did not work, so we were unable to look under the bonnet of the motor which is unusual because it's an essential part of buying a used car. The salesman was constantly on his phone, midway through us asking questions he walked away from us which I found rude and suspicious. On a positive note we got a test drive almost immediately and the car did drive spot on.. apart from a dodgy sound coming from the rear when braking which sounded like a wheel bearing though they would only repair this if they got a deposit - even though they said they would fix this anyway. I have not bought a car from this place, judging by my viewing experience and other peoples reviews, I wont be. No warrantee included with purchase unless you pay an extra £100. Personally I would avoid this place... 2/5 for my viewing experience. Edit: 7th November 2017 This company has now been rebranded as Mid Norfolk Motor Co. This review was made when the company was called Swaffham Trade Centre Ltd.
Right, I want to tell you a little story about these guys. I brought a silver Ford C-Max registration AO04UPJ from them last November. After getting it home and a few days down the line I started having problems with it, it was very smokey and kept going into limp mode. There was also a hissing from the foot well. So I got in touch with them and told them and they were not very helpful and frankly quite rude. The man I spoke to was Ian Lewin. They did however agree to let me have it checked by a local garage as I lived quite a distance from them. After it being checked and thouroughly tested, it turned out that the turbo was failing and the brake servo was faulty. I rang them back and go Ian again. I got a massive string of abuse and him saying that I hadn’t purchased any warranty and that I was happy when I viewed the car! This was all less than 3 weeks after purchase so after a short phone call to Citizens Advice, I sent them a letter, officially rejected the car under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They wrote back a week later saying that they would refund me if I returned the car to them. So a week later I got the car transported back to them as they asked which cost me nearly £400 expecting them to hand over the cash when I returned the car and that would it. They knew I was coming but conveniently when I got there, only one lady was there, Kay Brightside who you may have seen as Brighteyes further down putting good reviews! Yes, I’ve done my research. She told me she wasn’t able to authorise a refund and sent me an email while I stood there stating that I would received a refund within 7 days. So I reluctantly left it at that. A week went by and I heard nothing, so I emailed them. A few hours later, I got a reply from Armando Broegas/Brogas/Brocas or whatever he’s calling himself these days. He said they had had their ‘mechanic’ look over the car and also the local Ford garage which is conveniently adjoined to their premises and they couldn’t find anything wrong with the car and had also reset the all the fault codes?! Angrily, I replied giving them one last chance to pay up or I’d start take them to court. Another week went by and I heard nothing so, what was 4 days before Christmas, I started court proceedings!! They of course sent in a defence which meant it had to go onto the Small Claims Track. This was all very stressful as I had to borrow money from my Nan who has since passed away to get a new car and help cover court costs etc. Anyway, it was a long wait till April for the court date, but in that time, around the middle of January, the car reappeared advertised on eBay!! Unbelievably they were trying to resell the car and they hadn’t even updated the advert from when I purchased it so the mileage was wrong and they were trying to sell a faulty car that didn’t belong to them. I had it removed from eBay but it was too late, the car was re taxed according the DVLA from February so they’d illegally sold this car. And low and behold it was then re taxed in April which can only tell me that that poor person had the same trouble I did and then got rid too! I would love that person to see this and get in touch!! Anyway, the court date came round and they had gone quiet and hadn’t sent in any documents. I went to the court, I’d been nervous about it as I’d never done anything like that before, but they didn’t even have the decency to turn up to defend! So I won the case as there was no defence and too be honest they didn’t have a leg to stand on anyway. Of course, they didn’t send the money by the date the court ordered so I took it to the High Court Officers who happily took my case. Finally, after 8 months, I have got back the money from these fraudulent, stealing corrupt bunch of cowboys. To all who are owed money, you can beat these guys. But you may have to be quick, they’re on the verge of striking this company off and starting yet a new one. Keep a lookout for Arena Cars 2000 Ltd at Swaffham Raceway, I’m sure you’ll see some faces up there you’ll recognise! Anyway, I got back what I deserved, you can too!
Mr Gees Autos in Swaffham is a NEW BUSINESS and is run by Eddie Godden. There are NO LINKS WHAT SO EVER with the old car sales that used to trade from the site previously. Eddie is having to work extremely hard to build up his reputation, which isn't helped by people leaving uninformed comments and who have never purchased a car from Mr Gees. All cars from Mr Gees comes with 12 months MOT and 6 months warranty. Mr Gees Autos are a trustworthy used car dealership and do not deserve to be tarred with the same brush. Mr Gees auto. Finally a used car dealer you can trust. I have given 3 stars as this is linked to the previous business on the site, but I would give 5***** to Mr Gees.
Bought a Peugeot 1007. Paid £1,395 of £1,495. Paid by card. Money went out to ARMANDO. not mid Norfolk motor co. Car stayed on eBay and appeared 'featured' on Gumtree two days later. Then difficulty contacting company. Did some checks and looked through the various companies and directors associated. The car was meant to be being delivered today. After I texted them, they said the delivery driver was ill and would I drive to Norfolk to collect the car. I had already driven from Kelso to Manchester to be here when the car turned up. I said no and that I wanted my money back. They then said that the big boss himself would climb in the car and deliver it to me later. By that time. I was totally unhappy and asked for a refund. What happens now is up to them. I would suggest that if there are other customers waiting for refunds or rectification they should join in a 'class act'. It means that all the different claims get put together in one legal case. One solicitor. One case. Multiple claims. The amount of different companies and directorships can be viewed by starting at Tablebark. The more you look, the more you find. I was in the motor industry from 1970 to 2013 and have seen it all. Once I lose faith in someone I deal with, there is no point in flogging a dead horse.
bought a KA from here for a suprise birthday present for my daughters 21st birthday. i admit that the lack of suits in the office was daunting, but at end of day it was a car i wanted not a potential hisband. told the guys what i needed and why. they took me straight to the car i had in mind. told me the price. i haggled a bit and got an affordable KA sport for my girls birthday. had car a month now and not had a problem. daughter loves the car to bits. so glad about this. even seen the chaps in town and they asked how it was all going and said if there was any problem to come see them anytime. yes they may not be suited and booted but you are buying a car not a person! i feel some of these reviews are a bit untrue and maybe put on here by rival companies. of course these are sexond hand cars and some problems may occur from time to time, but as long as they are delt with in the correct way for the customer i see no problem with this firm. thank you for your service. Pedro Wing i have no other way to contact you but would really like the opportunity to talk to you and explain the REAL situation rather than see ypur somewhat liable comments on here... even though i fully get where you are coming from
