Heritage railway station and the main place for the Mid Norfolk Railway, has a booking office, buffet and shop. On the platform there are toilets and plenty of benches and the station never gets overly busy so unlike the national railway you never feel crammed when waiting for the train to Wymondham. The station staff are all cheerful and ready with information. On my visit it was a Bank Holiday so there was a BBQ set up on the station serving burgers and hotdogs. Nice station and a nice railway.

Still a preserved railway that goes from nowhere to near somewhere.nI was expecting nostalgia through the decor and preserved parts of railwayana, not in the standard of catering. Inflated prices for very little in quality. Seemed to be a mix of bulk defrosted Catering supplies, topped up by purchases from Morrisons.

A short but enjoyable ride. The staff were all friendly and happy to talk with you. Would have liked longer to visit the abbey but there wasn't time on this trip but we will be back.

Try the first class carridge on the stream train. Comfort is out of this world. Tip  if going to wyndonham there is not a cafe at the station, look at Carrick House about 10 minuets walk, nice tea and cakes.

Came here for afternoon high tea , disappointed that the steam engine was not running due to fire risk , but obviously you're still seated in the old style carriages , the service from all the staff that I encountered was of exceptional service , the food was good  albeit in my opinion , not enough sandwiches , had a 3 tiered plate with all the food on for 4 adults , but it is only 34.50 per person with a train ride , so overall a fair price for what you get  .nThe side of the platform you get the train from is clean and tidy , as were the gift shop and cafe seating area , but the opposite side is a bit of a mess  but I guess you're there for the train experience , which was excellent .nGood size free carpark , wheelchair friendly premises
