Great service and nice people working there. Came in for a heel lining add-on/repair. Unfortunately, one pair turned out really badly. The stitching is so awful, not even in a straight line. Shop mentioned that no independent repair shop could repair it to factory standard? Perhaps their machine/technique is not as fine? I am not an expert so could be completely wrong. Called the shop up and they said this is expected because of how the shoe was worn and deformed the leather and because of that they cannot stitch a straight line ?? But check out the other pair they did and no issues like that so not sure what is going on. I am guessing they rush through this pair and screwed the stitching up.

Brought in some shoes for sole repair. Even thought I lost my paper ticket, the store owner was really helpful and we managed to identify the shoes and complete the transaction. Super happy with the job and I’ll be sure to come back to this store for any future need!

I took my Mary-Jane Tabi shoes here to get a protective sole. They took such good care of my shoes and the sole they added was immaculate. They price was very reasonable for the craftsmanship, they were ready on time and the staff were very professional and friendly. Will definitely go back and recommend to everyone!

I work in the shoe industry myself in shoe and leather restoration. I use Michael's for sole repairs and the fitting of triumph and lulu plates . The craftsmanship at Michael's is second to non . They quite literally put the "Master" in Master craftsman .  I would rate Micheal's as one of , if not the best shoe repairers in the UK and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for repair or care of thier shoes and leather goods . Andrea's is a great chap and you will always be met by a warm welcome and expert advice and guidance.

Amazing service! Michael and Andreas have been truly amazing. My favourite Gucci shoes have seen better days and looked ready for the bin. Ater a rainy day they were literally falling apart. Michael worked his magic and Andreas sent them back to Portsmouth in time for my holiday. They still have some life in them thanks to these guys. Would highly recommend using their service.

I really cannot recommend this place enough. They fixed my shoes beautifully and even shipped them for me once repaired. The place where they correctly shipped them to, lost them, and the team at Michael repairs have been so helpful and giving me all the documentation I need to try and get some money back for the lost parcel. Thank you so much and I will certainly be using them again.

Lovely store and perfect repair!! The shop is adorable and everyone is very nice and efficient. I brought a leather bag that had stitching come loose - i was warned the repair stitching might look different from the original, but I got it back and it looks absolutely perfect, can’t tell where the repair was!!

Exceptional craftsmanship!!! Fixed my shoes perfectly, and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Will be sending all my shoes here for sure!!
