give 3 stars because Rota, blocks jobs from you on the app. Working for a company that would drop them at a drop of a pin if I changed my agency. You send Michal messages he doesn't reply back. that is so rude and disrespectful. If I pick a job, I don't get it. If they continue to block jobs from me on the app, I will go join another agency where this company takes more of the agency staff from. As for payment, I have had no problem. the only thing I wish we got paid end of every month and not go into the following month before we get paid.
I work for them occasionally, for over 3 years now. Never been paid late or cancelled with no reason. They always have jobs which only makes me think the people that commission them are also happy with their service. To the unhappy employees I can only suggest: be professional at all times and serious 100% about the jobs and then you would be treated the same way. It 's just the way it works best for both parties.
I worked for them at an event a month ago, the guy from the agency I was in contact with Michal told me he was gonna pay me cash 'cause at that time I didn't have an english bank account yet, since I was just arrived in the UK. The day of the event no one from the agency was there, so I started to send him messages, to email the agency and to call them. Meanwhile, I got my english bank account, so I wrote all the details on my profile on the agency portal and still tried to contact this Michal... No one ever replied to my messages, emails and calls. This is ridicolous, I never worked with someone so unprofessional. I'll update this when IF i'll get my money. *After messaging them and calling them everyday, I finally got the money on the 29th of January
I worked a shift for metro on December 6, 2018, and two months after I am still waiting for my payment. The company argues that I don't appear on the sign-in sheets, although many of my colleagues witnessed that I worked that day. They refuse to send me the documents and they stop answering my e-mails long ago. They are unkind and un professional. I don't recommend to work with Metro Hospitality.
It's almost two month past and I did not received my money. It's ridiculous that people have to beg for their money that worked hard for it . My friend asked me that the place she is working asked them to bring your friends to work for an event and went and worked for them for a very long shift . The way they treated the employee in the other hand was so rude and when I finished my work they told me they will send my money into my account but they didn't . The guy who was texting me told me that he can not find my name in the system and ignored my text and phone calls. I'm going to take legal action and call any news in London to be able to get my money and warn other people that this company don't know how have to do business.. No regards
It is actually the WORST hospitality agency I've worked for! They suspended my account with the first time I had to cancel one shift, although I did it 3 days before my shift and I haven't been paid AT ALL for all the shifts I did for them. I' ve mailed them so many times asking about my money but they completely ignore me and of course deny to pay me. STAY AWAY!!!!
I can't recomment this company because they still hold me my money. They told me I will have salary on my bank account in one month which is not truth. They don't pay on time and it looks I will not get my money. I contacted them by email and mobile but they do not response! So I am going to sort it out by my own way! So avoid this "agency"! Very bad and not trustable company!
I've been working with Metro Hospitality for a month so far. I didn't have any problems communicating with them and the payment came in time. The shifts are interesting and you can meet new people.
After a 16h shift I had to wait 3 months to get paid whatever they wanted. Still sending them emails claiming for the unpaid amount and will proceed to report the situation to the citizen advice bureau. Keep yourself away from these pirates.
I haven’t even worked with them, Just visited them for an interview. Despite, the struggle to reach the address as they haven’t provided detailed info about their complex address. Also wouldn’t allow me to go ahead with the interview requiring a passport while I have provided ID, Driving licence in witch I was not notified prior by email. I sniff a poor Managment so better not joining them.
