The pub was busy and clean and tidy. We had not booked, but the staff were welcoming and friendly and managed to find us a table, making us feel like part of the family. We ordered the carvery, which was freshly cooked, piping hot and tasted delicious. We highly recommend this place for a carvery. My only regret is not finding this place earlier. I'm definitely planning to go back.
Had a carvery here mid week. I was really impressed with the food, service and the venue. The carvery was absolutely delicious, a fantastic choice of vegetables to go with three choices of meat. Would definitely go again and thoroughly recommend.Food: 5/5
My first roast dinner at a restaurant and honestly incredible! Loved my nut roast - best I have ever had! I need the recipe! Desserts looked incredible, I was too stuffed to try any but they looked amazing. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Considering the portion size which you have control over! It is so worth the money! Just wish there was brocolli!
Lovely pub with lots of tables inside and out. Staff are friendly. Food is great,they do a lovely carvery. Reasonable prices. Small play equipment in the garden. Plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend booking as this place is very popular especially at the weekends. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were available. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu. Kids drinks Play equipment outside. Parking: Plenty of parking.
Usual carvery fare really. Reasonable selection of meat and veg. Still waiting to find a carvery that do roast potatoes any justice at all. Turkey, beef and pork on offer but only one gravy? Went on a Sunday, didn't know before arriving that on Sundays, it's carvery only. No other choice available. Would I go again, yes, I think I would. Would I go again on a Sunday so I HAVE to have carvery, absolutely not.

Went for for a Birthday Meal. All of us had to have Carvery even though everyone thought we could order something else from the menu as we were not told this when booking. They need to change serving spoons as most were too hot to handle and too close to the heating element of the food.2armer, one of the party burnt their hand. Seems that unless you were local the service and portion sizes of the meat given was poor. Service was ok but could of been better. Forgot 1 drink and also messed up one drink order. Not a great day and we spent £200!
We had a carvery here a few weeks ago and it was brilliant. Gorgeous food and staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Ate there a few months ago, during renovations. Did not really enjoy the carvery. Being vegetarian, I opted for the nut roast, which was a mushy mess, the roast potatoes were the frozen type and awful; too crunchy without much potato left in them. Everything was warm, and not really hot. Very disappointed overall. Parking: Pleanty of room
Had our work Christmas lunch in here. Service, food and atmosphere were all excellent. Good choice on menu , won't disappoint, hopefully will be going back in the New YeaeFood: 5/5
