We LOVE visiting Merlin's amusements. Both myself and a few members of our family Sensory Processing Disorder if you know you know and Merlin's is a far nicer environment than the other arcade further along. Merlin's is fun, fair and has plenty of selection to please most people. Thanks Merlin, we had a great time today!
Great that Minehead still has some amusement arcades on the front. Friendly staff and good pushers with great win options. Nice that you can swap tickets for the grabber toys and the push machines give a good ticket return rate
Top man Barry the owner. Loads of stock to remind you of a visit to Minehead. Shoes, ornaments, cloths, toys, beach stuff. You name it!

Great for the kids and adults reminiscing of the past, underneath the amusements is a hidden Aladdin of clothes, shoes, wet suits, all you want from a seaside shop, staff friendly
Meh not very impressed with these amusements, compared with others we have visited recently. We only did the 2p machines and these were disappointing - there were hardly any prizes in any of the machines some had none at all The odd "winnable" item on offer was far away from the edge and wasn't desirable anyway. I'm not sure who the target audience is? A disappointing percentage of coins that were pushed over the edge were siphoned off into the depths of the machines rather than coming out as winnings. We did win around 500 tickets but again, prizes were unappealing and you sure did need a lot of them to get even the cheapest tiniest bit of tat, compared with other amusements we've been to. You don't expect to come out of these places having made a profit, but it would have been nice to get the odd keyring or something... we quickly realised there was no point in staying very long. The only good thing was the woman at the cash desk was friendly.
On the outside, this amusements doesn't seem to be that large but actually holds a lot of arcade and video games! It's quite easy to get tickets in here and has plenty of items to win on the penny machines. Staff are quick to help with any situation, also.
It's fun for the whole family.....take a lot of money....lose you kids for an hour for £50
Fantastic fun. Honest friendly staff and accommodating. Nothing too much trouble. Lost a new phone and it was handed in.
